We have to be joking if you still want these guys. While they were good, there are people under them who need to be developed to take on the torch. It's not political. Agreed, my lifetime as a police officer there was always 5, Assistant commissioners, 1 deputy, and 1 Commissioner. They made 11, plus an additional sr. Assistant commissioner, unheard of in a country this small, it was for political gain. Strachan joined in 84 as a Band cadet. If you do the math that will give him at least 35 years or more. The problem with the PLP promotion was that it clogged up all of the ranks. Brave is talking about political motive.. he has a short memory.
The year is about 18 days, I can live with 93, I can live with 99... no one can stop murders and given the count last year and now, and looking back to what they were a few years ago...we hope and pray it stays. The PLP had a worst murder record, so we need to leave the politics out of it or it will reflect who was the worst care taker of the country's crime issues.
The nurses at the Rand Hospital have been working in unbelievable condition from the hurricane.. perhaps they need to stop work until they get the new hospital. But they refuse, because they feel, for the most part, that there is an element of responsibility involved...
