People only under stand numbers, hence statistics gives an individual a better feel for what is happening as oppose to hearing it from different sources. I found these murder figures in one of my books I had written. As a former police officer the numbers made a lot of sense.
So as we analyze these earlier numbers, say 15 years we see where our parenting skills have gone wrong. It gets scary from 2006. Go back in your mind that year, but compared to the former commissioner's tours of duty in the triple murder figures, now the police has shown an improvement. It not political, its about leadership. Paul Farquaharson got relieved of his duties in 2009. Reg Ferguson took it over for a year or so in 2010, then it was Ellison Greenslade. from 2011 to last year. The Facts speak from themselves.
I watch that video it is a simple arrest, bin there done that.., the police has to use more force than the suspect to bring him in, up to killing if necessary, that is law....So it they the suspect wants to fight then the police have the right to cut his behind, then charge him for resisting arrest too. Seem a lot of resisting taking place i the video and others wanted to obstruct the officers from doing their job, lock them up too. This is why crime out of control...we need to see it for what it is. The police have no right to stop anyone from video taping, that officer needs to be reported to the complaint unit.
let's hope this don't carry over in 2019... it was kinda quiet for most of the year, but all hell is breaking loose now in the doubles and now triples...
I say this respectfully, in 1995 me and my family left Nassau because of the 3 C's, the crime, the cars, and the crowd. 23 years later, it was a good move. Nassau will get no better, we sing the same song and dance every year, blame the police, blame the politician, get our houses all barred up, but I promise you nothing will change, it will be the same next year and the next year. The murder count is down for now but we see the same fool, Parents who don't bring up their children right, worthless fathers, no more Sunday school. Change begins within. The police are external change agent... maybe we are suckers for punishment. I wouldn't want to be watching my back everywhere I go that is why like most GB residence, we heard to Lauderdale or West Palm Beach. My police experience has taught me that between November and December 25 of every year crime will be at its highest.that was how it was in 1995 in Nassau, which caused me to leave. Every police officer knows that, so they do their best, nuttin' to do with the red shirts or any other shirt color. I get offended when people who don't know about front-line police work criticize the efforts of police officers but fail to join a crime watch group, the police reserves or be more active in their community.
SP, I watching Freddie though, he seems to be an Andre Rollins in disguise, lot of balls, but he will be party-less if he don't shut up. Andre ruff up both leaders from both parties, suddenly he wasn't wanted by no body, a political sentence. Frankly I agree with you on McAlpine and he always says he is speaking for the people.... hummm
Well as labourers we need to be careful, they did raise the VAT to 12% now if they pay for all these raises for nurses, teachers, policeman who knows 15% VAT next? Seem its a cycle, Tax them after they raise them... raise them then tax them... the Gov't never lose...Them old people does always say be careful what you ask for, cause you might get it.
McAlpine reminds me so much of a fella call Dr. Andrae Rollins, very out spoke, I loved his stand, but often MP's like that will stand alone, looking outside the political arena. Point is you get nowhere without a party backing.
