I have to disagree over the resignation, that ill fated plane was not flown by the minister or any rbdf marine. It crash on it's own, we need to look at where the fault was, either human error or mechanical failure. Those two aspects are where we should start throwing the blame, nuttin' political. The last crash was worst than this one, and civilians found the first set of debris as well, but the family didn't carry on like that.
There is no NSTB here, and if we hire them wehave to pay big money, My suggestion is don't fly if you know we have no proper salvaging equipment. Plane will continue to crash, we just had one in January, people don't understand life is a chance, make sure ya heart right with God when you go on a plane, nothing to do with the Minister, defence or police. Marvin didn't fly the plane or crash it. Mr. Ferguson decided to fly himself now we playing the blame game... and its turning political...
i'm surpise that Gomez is making noise, considering the date this mess started, he may have been Minister of State for Legal matters in 2015, and the probe began in 2016 or there abouts. I'm expecting for Fred to get his two cents in too, I hope he remembers he was immigration minister back then. This will take sometime to clean up, not sure what the noise is about so early. America is not seeing PLP of FNM, this is making all of us look bad, every Bahamian, red shirt and gold shirt, I don't like it !!
The our days off is for working the already worked 40 hour work-week. My wife is a nurse, they work 10:30 pm to 8:30 am, well that's the schedule, but she always get home after 10am in the morning. They work 4 X 10 hours for four days and they be off while the next night person do the same thing, but even though they work a bunch of extra hours without pay they were happy with the night arrangement... well until now
So what I'm hearing under the last administration we beg to find out where the VAT money went.. now under this government we know where it went and we still not happy, maybe they should do like the last government... don't say a word!!!
Whatever shares he has, I don't think the post office staff really care, they deserve something better than where they are now, thanks for straightening my facts out. I know for sure if they get the voters upset they will do their 5 years like everyone else, the voters are more powerful than any MP, time will tell.
Stats never rotten, they are like our history, here forever and can be viewed again and again, the PLP do hip, bottom line, even in this post office deal with the Independence Shopping Center, that will not go away.
I smile as I watch the end of this debate in the HOA. McAlpine beat his hand on the table when the resolution was passed along with the government ministers who voted yes...that really confuse me. I guess he is glad there will be a new post office for the suffering staff, but he wasn't prepared to support it. For those who grumble here you all will still get ya post office... so all ,. "you have to do now is say, " hey...i don't want this cause post office cause Brent Symonette has 1 share in this building, its conflict...and let ya mail go someplace else.
