Not sure Brave dem want a post office or not? I watched the workers who work in the post office, they the ones who need relief...

Well I see the talk started, perhaps you folks need to continue using that old post office... here is a 5 year resolution... I think what is important is getting my mail thru to Nassau... The post office here in GB over the years have experience a/c challenges, but all I want is my mail, I don't care where its be housed at.

I hope those who plan to visit read this, I mean visit after being convicted or being remanded...

Bcitizen, you mentioned Castaway Cay, aka, Gorda cay, that island before Disney took it was a storage facility and had its won runway for drug running. Ask your former prime minister about the drug running on that island, unfortunately he is has since died many years ago. I work there as a police officer. In order to prevent drug running, they station four police a week in the middle of no where, we would get water, put it in a tub in the middle of the runway, let the sun heat it so we can bathe, sun flies eat ya bungy. The police was glad Disney took it over... look at it now. Most on here don't even live in Eleuthera, another place I worked, leave the people alone. Central and south Eleuthera was a grave yard from I was there in the early 2000's. Not sure why Bahamians dem does get in people island business and they live mostly in Nassau... puzzle me all the time. Move there where they are and see the hurt, them make noise.

Let's not forget Alyson Maynard 2 trips to China trying to save Bahamar .. let's not forget, she made zero progress on those trips, some folks on here gat shallow memories...Ill never forget da Abaco run they enjoy the people's money and Nygard cay too.

The total land area of the archipelago is 13,934 square kilometers, slightly larger than New Jersey and Connecticut combined. So with all this land mass, you think the Lord will be upset if we use a small bit of it for the sake of the people or investment. The land sitting there is beautiful but no use to the locals apart from the norm, fishing,swimming. They was always doing that, seems every time something comes up there is bickering. But its not like they using all of it, My goodness!! Nothing is happening in South Eleuthera, I work there as a policeman in 2001, it was dead, dead, dead!! we complain, now something may happen, well some of us still not happy to see them poor people try to get something. We strange people in this Bahamas always negative. We feel that the sand, the beach, the grass, the environment should take presidence over our own survival. But then when there is no job, we cry, when they break into our houses we blame the government, we strange. We complain but we don't do nuttin, just complain. If you not happy with it set up another business there that you like for them then Disney can stop, they wouldn't mind any.
