I understand what the former D/COP is saying, its not a personal attack , that goes for any commissioner who is not effective It is logic. If you are not effective in doing a job you should be remove, the numbers suggest that maybe its time to change the football coach. Just a few days ago the Brooklyn Nets Basketball organization fired coach Lionel Hollins, it wasn't personal, it was all business... he was hired to turn the organization around, he didn't. It meant he as a coach wasn't getting the job done. We will always miss the point if we take into personalities. Do we stick with a coach because we love him, respect him ? Or do we do what is necessary for the sake of the team. Our crime figures have been in triple figure for a number of years, how long will it take to realize that... "Do things the same way, you will get the same results." Nuff said!!

Crisis to crisis... from Hurricane Joaquin to hurricane Bahamar...all spell doom

TigerB says...

This is a shame, but they can't blame Hubert Ingraham for this one, they blame him for the roads, the over spending in building programs which effected a change in government. But Bahamar was suppose to be the savior for us all... that was then

One of the problem is you can pass a million laws, but if they and not enforced then we have a problem. The police is the law enforcer, not the minister or the prime minister, except they decides to wear a uniform. The police is directly responsible for crime. It should fall at their feet. When there is no crime the police looks good, where there is crime they look bad. Stiffer gun laws would help if they can find the persons who is in possession of these firearms but if not then it will not be effective. They have to catch them first and there lies the problem.

Before reading this story a while ago, i was at home chatting with my brother in Oklahoma, he is a ballistic expert with the police department down there. I told him our murder count had reach 100, he laughed. He said the city of Okla, has 1.5 million people, their murder count is 50 there as I write this today. I didn't see this story yet...ridiculous!
