Nelly is missing, "if the story is true" doesn't help anything. Her family and I are distraught and her mother is in the hospital from this.
Her family is trying to get there asap to speak to police. I spoke to them over the phone many times over the past week on this.
"Voyage"- I have heard lies and rumors from some, one says she was detained by Freeport police, another she was captured in Palm Beach waters, another says the boat sank. People are spreading many false rumors on this. We can't get straight answers.
What is the name of this Bahamian man missing? Does anyone know if he paid $6000 also? While searching for any answers, I have found many cases of missing persons while they tried to illegally enter the US. Obviously they make their own decisions to break laws, but that doesn't mean they deserve something like this.

At this point: US coast guard has no record of capturing Nelly. The Freeport police have not seen her. The Palm Beach county sheriff, Riviera Beach, Homeland security, City of Palm Beach, etc have not seen her. Rumors that she was arrested in Freeport, other rumors arrested by Palm Beach sheriff, etc. ICE online system has no record, and they told me over the phone they process people within 24 hours.

1. I did not plot with Nelly, I begged her not to do this when she told me
2. She is a wonderful Christian woman who made an error in judgment. She did not have ulterior motives when we met online.

1. She is a wonderful Christian woman who would not "Play" someone as you casually put it. This was her idea, her money etc. I gave her nothing for this
2. If she went back to Peru, her family would know it. They are distraught as I am because no one has been able to reach her since the week of the 15 dec.
3. I am stunned at the lack of regard for a missing person here. stunned. Please people help us find her if any one is in Freeport. I will be going down there asap

Of course she would, we are best of friends. what does this have to do with anything? Why would she not contact her family in Peru nor her friends in the US?

1. Nice assumption. This is a real person who is missing.
2. No I didn't give Nelly any money. She spent her savings on this, which is why she refused to leave when I spoke to her on the phone on Dec 15. I begged her to get out of there because her family and I were extremely concerned, as she had been waiting down there for a month to take this trip.

1. Lord give me patience to deal with horrible comments like this.
2. We spoke to Nelly in Freeport the week of Dec 15th. I spoke to her from Florida on the 15th, and her family apparently spoke to her from Peru after that. She apparently took this boat ride on the 18th of Dec. I left the Bahamas on Nov 17th, and she was waiting there for a month to do this.

1. Assuming things gets you nowhere.
2. Nelly tried 3 times in the past few years to get a legal visitors pass to come here and visit friends and visit me. She was turned down by our wonderful government 3 times, losing $750 in application fees.
3. Insulting and judging people is not going to help find her. This story was written to get the word out that she is missing, and we would greatly appreciate attention in this situation.

1. Why did you ASSume that I gave Nelly any money? She used her life savings to do this.
2. She is a wonderful Christian woman, and you feel like you should make judgments and ASSumptions about a total stranger that you do not know?
3. Your compassion level for Nelly's diappearance is amazing. Lord help us
