How should I know why she was turned down? What does this have to do with anything? Just because your friend got a visitors visa, does not mean Nelly can get one.
All I can tell you is what she told me. She tried 2 times before I knew her to get a visitors pass, she told me both were denied. Then last year I sent her the 250 application fee to try again, and again she was turned down.
How should we know? Nelly and I asked about this many times. The last time was a year ago I think. I paid that application fee for her to come and visit for 3 months, but they turned her down. When we decided we wanted to see each other again, I suggested Cancun. She said no Bahamas.
As I said above, I begged her the last time I spoke to her to turn around and go home. Asked her if she needed me to buy her a ticket, etc. She refused to listen to me. She told me that she did not want to lose her money. She did not listen to me, nor her family tell her to return home
1. The first time I met Nelly and family was in Peru 2011 december. The article was incorrect in stating that I met her first time in Bahamas, this was a miscommunication on the phone with the writer. Why do you need pictures as proof of this when it is common knowledge? 2. YES we planned the vacation get together to the Bahamas for a while. but this was only to see each other, get to know better. 3. i have spoken to the people that set this up for her many times, but they are not telling me the truth I do not believe.
Pointing out her mistakes doesn't help anything. Not sure why you posted this. Yes she made mistakes. No that does not mean she deserved it. Also, she used her last penny to afford this crazy idea. Judging helps nothing. And your comment that she "rushed to get to the USA" is absurd. Over the years, she waited patiently to get the visa visitors pass, but kept getting denied. How is waiting patiently for years and years "rushing" ? "would have been better to find a US citizen to marry" um, no. A Christian woman does not marry for papers. Her mistake was trusting these smugglers, I don't think bashing her helps anything do you?

how does bashing a person who is in obvious trouble help?

As far as I know, when I spoke to Sargeant Ewing, he had not yet spoken to family.
