Dr. Smith is simply arguing that the Government should not only rethink legalizing this drug, they should rethink introducing a new sub-specialist in the pharmacy profession who will do more harm. That sub-speciality is ULDP. Unqualified Licensed Dope Pusher.

Could it be that you were under the influence of marijuana while you writing this comment? It certainly appears to be so. Your commitment is totally incoherent and disjointed( no pun intended). Common let us review the evidence. How come marijuana use is not legal in Singapore?

We will rue the day if this nonsensical decision is put into law. Our children will be given the green light to justify the use of this mind altering drug. The legislators should know that the weed shops will have an inventory of other gateway drugs on sale. Fentanyl, heroin, amphetamine, and other prescription drugs will be available for sale to these young people. What bothers me about this proposed legislation is that the consequences have not been sufficiently studied. They could have at least done some benchmarking research. Had they done this fundamental aspect of decision making they would have discovered that in states where this drug was legalized drug abuse among the youth skyrocketed, crime increased, rape and child molestation went out of the roof and lung diseases with other neurological disorders . It is not too late to pull back from this plunge into the unknown.

It is so difficult to understand why some people can emerge from the trenches of hate, jealousy and envy to talk bad about someone who has done so much for this country? This is sad. Please come back Dr. Minnnis. The nation needs you. Please do not let these political miscreants attempt to psyche you out of the position you are entitled to and deserve.

This request has to be a joke and was uttered while Mr. McKinney was under the influence of this very dangerous and addictive drug. How in the world could anyone in their right mind make such a request and expect to be taken seriously? How could any serious Government entertain such a request? I hope the Government will review the medical and psychological evidence about how this drug destroys the mind, corrupts the morality of users and leads to the use of other drugs. Marijuana is a gateway drug and we must recognize this. Please don’t consider this imbecilic request. All one will have to do is wear some foolish looking clothing and wrap up their heads in a turban and declare themselves as a Rasta Priest. Let’s get serious. Too much crime in the land.

This is why marijuana should not be legalized. Just imagine a 15 year old tampering with this poison. Where did he get this drug from Who is selling this poison to our children? We have to introduce drug screening in our schools. Please don’t consider legalizing this poison. Because the next thing they will be finding 15 year old children with cocaine and fentanyl.

Are you aware of the negative effects of this mistake on the legalization of this dangerous gateway drug in the USA. The sad evidence is that marijuana use leads to the consumption of harder drugs like fentanyl, heroin and cocaine. Is that what we want in the Bahamas? No. I don’t think so. Please get real.

These killings have a root cause that no one wants to deal with. The problem is drugs. Marijuana is main reason for this rise in crime and killings. And now they talking about legalizing this dangerous drug. Let’s get real and honest.
