It is unfortunate that it has come to this. What more can the Committee do? The next thing these ingrates will do is to accuse the Committee of failing to make them win the competition. These are unsavory excuses for failing to present themselves in a competitive and decent manner. Shame on them.
Shame, shame, shame. Shame on the Government for lacking a coherent promotions procedure. I wonder , though, what are the political, physical, emotional and religious characteristics of this person and the extent to which she is amenable to the the other non written promotion variables we use in the Bahamas? There has to be something(s) holding/not holding her back ( no pun intended).
A hungry child cannot focus on what is being taught in class. That there are people out there who are against this program is very scary. It is very scary that there are insensitive and uncaring individuals in our society. A hungry child is a frustrated child . The Government is to be congratulated.
But Fred Mitchell has a filthy and abominable character and he/she should learn that those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. Why is this man not married?
Like I have said before, Mitchell has too many irons in the fire. He is not capable of doing three jobs. Time for him to show he is a real man and give up his candidacy for Chairman.
The justification provided by Ms. Lynes for running for this important office is clear, precise and rational and all with the view towards keeping her eye on the ball. The current Chairman has not been able to provide his undivided attention to the job. As a result, our party has a part time Chairman who has too many things to do. The other candidate is not credible. He is seeking a platform to continue his access to the spoils of our party being in office. He is well experienced in this side of politics. Accordingly, there is only one candidate to put it all together. Ms. Lynes is the one.
This appears to be a stalling tactic. Why even a need to check the ability of these “teachers” to speak English in the first place? This should have been determined BEFORE they were hired. The next stalling tactic will be the Government of the Bahamas has contracts with each of these teachers as well as the Government of Cuba. And a legal review will be necessary. After that it will be these teachers will be enrolled in rapid English learning courses. And after that who knows? This question about the ability of these teachers to speak English exposes a serious problem in the Ministry of Education.
