This was a PLP funded defense. Gibson, like, his fellow PLP Ministers, were all practicing variations of extortion, kickbacks and corruption. I wonder how much money the PLP spent to intimidate and bamboozle the jury members and Government prosecutors? And to send the signal that they endorse corruption. What a shame.
How much money they are paying Marissa Smith? She is now triple dipping on the Public Purse. Pension and Golden handshake from her last job with BPL , Pension from Government and now salary from the University. Wow. Is this right, fair and justifiable?
This should not be a problem for us. With the Reconstruction and Redevelopment Tax and the cut in Public Sector pay we will be able to finance this vital infrastructural project. We could also increase the Tourist Levy via a Departure Tax. God Bless you Mr. Prime Minister.
Mudda you are talking unadulterated foolishness. That you have a comment on every article in this newspaper makes one wonder if you are robot. Who is your mother?
Outstanding news. Congratulations Mr. Prime Minister. When the history of the Bahamas is written you will be celebrated as the most visionary and impactful leader we have ever had. Please continue along the path to prosperity you are taking our nation down.
The only thing I want to emphasize is to please introduce the legislation for the 20% Reconstruction and Redevelopment Tax asap.
