After reading your comments I'm left shaking my head. After every shooting Bahamians are bellyaching because the police aren't doing enough to fight crime...many cases they have been blamed for such violence. Now the police are trying to use new technology and you are bellyaching once again, this time because it's "a waste of money". How do you know it's money wasted? Have you seen this type of technology anywhere else? Probably not! One of you even brought up when John Kennedy was killed...over 50 years ago. What the hell has that got to do with this?? Give the technology a try or better yet...quit being so damned negative and have some pride in your country. Sure there is much to improve, but this just might be the start of some major changes.

Once again, a 27yr old idiot doesn't think about anybody but himself. Had his stunt failed the family would be suing the ass off the cruise ship company. Further, the Bahama police thought it was "amusing"! Heads should roll over this. It wouldn't have been so amusing had he killed himself. Because of their inefficiency so other joker my try this because there is very little deterrent.

Such a silly response from a person who is old enough to make life better for himself instead on whining and moaning. It's silly people like you who don't know how to look after dogs and cats, allowing them to breed much like the ignorant women of the island. If you used the education you've been given to better yourself you could be elevated to a level above dogs and cats. With your attitude you belong on a level below them.

Sadly, the government can't help an alcoholic unless they want to be helped. It's very hard for family members to realize that and accept it. People can not be forced to quit drinking, it just does not work that way. Condolences to her family.

This dress code is making me chuckle. I had the pleasure of visiting the Dept. Of Immigration last year. Although some women had short sleeved outfits on the young men had in ripped or tattered jeans, t-shirts that hadn't seen a washing machine in weeks and some were even barefoot...but let's go after the women who bare their arms!

Off topic but about the building, it is filthy dirty, we were not allowed to use the elevator so had to take the stairs up. There in front of us was a staff member just finishing her lunch out of a take-away container, tossing it in the stairwell instead of taking it to her office and disposing of it properly. I stopped her and told her she dropped something...I don't need to tell you her response. As luck would have it she was looking after my extention and I sat there for 2hrs waiting for a lousy stamp, on a chair that the padding was missing from. 😂😂😂 Maybe the govt. should clean up the building, wash the walls, sweep and wash the floors before telling people what to wear.

I agree there is something very odd about this lawsuit and I also feel it's a scam.
This scam could be pulled off so easily.. she probably had a few drinks earlier since there was a party and was exhubarant about getting married the next day, they are all comfortable enough with each other so it is plausible they would think she'd ask for a hug and he'd oblige even if it was against company policy because, after all they are nice people and the husband to be is right there coming out of the bathroom. What a great scam!! This pair is looking for an easy way to pay their wedding bill and don't give a damn who suffers as long as they get what they want.

They should both spent their honeymoon in Fox Hill Pen

Why do humans insist on capturing and or killing other species. The shark should have been left alone. If kids were in danger, get them out of the water until the shark left. The water belongs to the fish, we are only using and abusing it!

I am rightfully shocked to read how any Bahamian can think Trump knows what he is doing. The man can't remember from one minute to the next what he just said. He lies so much that he has no clue what the truth is. Trump is not going to be happy until he has paid his debt to the Russians and all of the western world is under Russian control.

Wake up Bahamas before it's too late.

Honolulu, I'm with you all the way. The Bahamas of today is a disgrace and it's people are violent. I know the Bahamas of the '60's and '70's when it was a fun, safe place to visit and most people got along.

In those days one didn't have to be rich to visit and a stay of one or two weeks was the norm. Now t's over priced and one doesn't dare leave the hotel grounds during their 4day stay. One can't see Nassau like that but going Over the Hill is risking ones life now.

Bring back British Rule and get rid of these thieving parliamentarians and crooked politicians.

Let's get some REAL governing going and pull this country up by it's boots so it can be what it should be; a beautiful, peaceful, productive place to live and visit.
