'A bid to expand our container landing capacity and thereby earn even greater profits.' This has nothing to do with combating fraud and/or assisting the government. Assist those shareholders who purchase port shares through treasury deductions. LOL
Okay! We all know about Mr. Mitchell, but, we also know about you. My belief is that you first have to be a friend of humanity to be an actual human rights activist.
Mr. Collie is just advising that persons who are expecting to see some former cabinet minister doing the bank lane shuffle should shelve that thought. It's not gonna happen cause no crime was committed. Those who voted FNM, based on the presumption that PLP cabinet ministers had stolen some money, simply got swung. No big thing.
Why are you guys so angry? The FNM won and instead of celebrating the opportunity to advance the country with the revolutionary policies and programmes you are focused on PGC. SAD!!!
Did he err in law or just in doing what you'd wish he would do. He made a ruling and like all judgements of the supreme court it could be appealed. If it wasn't, let's assume the principals in the matter would have been advised by their counsel that the judgment would stand on appeal.
I'm trying to understand how the bloggers came to the conclusion that a former or current Parliamentarian may be charged before the courts with a criminal offense. Ministers do not prepare or sign vouchers nor do write or sign cheques on behalf of The Bahamas Government. Permanent Secretaries and Directors are chief financial officer with responsibility for each head. In governmental financing the buck stops with them ask HAI.
Dame who? Sands what? Bethel how? Bannister well he really didn't matter. Now Sears, at least he was teachable. Now if you'd appointed I. Ponder to the Senate and made her the substantive minister we could talk about someone who not only had a clue, but, a mad desire for educational improvement/excellence.
Minister Lloyd will do well at education, after all he and the Dame of the FNM son has much in common they really get to know their students. Taking education to a whole new level.
I knew Prime Minister Minnis would definitely get one right that nobody could/should disagree with. Minister Michael Pintard, Youth Sport and Culture, a proven coach and he will ensure that the culture continues.

Why would anyone with half a brain turn them self into CDU without legal counsel? The silly season has ended and the stupid has begun.
