Wasn't the man fired by the voters of Centreville and by extension the Bahamian people. I read where he acknowledge his loss I guess that wasn't enough for his supporters/detractors. Illusions. There is no reason for any politician to fear the auditors none of them are the financial officer in any government ministry or department.
2012 election victory by the PLP, though they had a 'landslide' in terms of seats they polled less than 50% of the popular vote. Like it or not 52+% of the voters were not in favor of them being the government. They kept forgetting that and on 10th May, 2017 were reminded of that fact. As KPT makes his budget presentation in short order the question of where the VAT money gone/is will become patently clear. Many will attempt to plead ignorance as he will be forced to explain how governmental operations and programmes are and have been funded, but, the truth will be told and the $1.2 billion question will be answered. Facts are never convenient they just are.
Really looking forward to the budget presentation when KPT will explain to us all what is now going to be done with the VAT money, or where it's gone or where it will continue to go. Prepared to be dazzled with brilliance.
Sound bites. May 10, 2018 will arrive without a single former minister being charged before the courts. We are to quick to give credence to political talking points. Nobody's going to jail.
What magic formula would allow for the paying down of the national debt by $2 billion in the first two years in office? Our current level of recurrent expenditure would not allow for such a venture.
Where do you guys get these figures from. It's truly disgraceful that persons would post figures without even trying to verify what the actual amount of constituency allowance is. The search for truth requires effort to denigrate another only require that we speak or write whatever we heard being propagated.
Thanks for the correction. I am happy it was made as people reading your column would use the information supplied by you as fact without researching and we'd want them only presenting truth.
Didn't quite understand how this commenting thing went, but after having posted the statistic of the PLP and FNM in the 2012 general election I realize 'don't let the truth get in the way of a good story' is your mantra.

Where do you guys get these phantom figures. Perhaps in your search for truth you should read Rashad Rolle's article in the Tribune May 28, 2015.
