I don't think its a matter of being 'vexed' with Carnival as you say. It's the fact that after attending this major event, and bearing in mind the complex issues plaguing BEC right now.. one can only hope that the home front will be in the same condition to which it was left in. This is the real concern of the matter. The disadvantage of forgoing another expense due to petty thieves in these bad economic times, many can't afford. I sure as hell can't! That's why my butt has to opt out, and stay home to protect the little assets I have left and worked hard for. : (

Listen.. I just had this very same discussion couple days ago. After coming to the very same conclusion, I was told that the government plans to bring policemen from other islands to assist at the event as well as other areas of Nassau where ever possible. I don't know how true this is, but it still doesn't make much sense to me no matter where you pull the man power from. I suspect there will still gonna be a whole lot of potential break-ins going on.

If I did, I would've called the proper authorities (Sandilands)!! lol

...and I'd like to add.. a walking contradiction within himself! He's has done this before speaking out and creating further confusion. Why is it so hard to call Leslie up and discuss facts, before either one of them speaks? He even spoke out basically against the auditor and added to the fire when he was lambasted for what the results exposed; basically doing his job. This 'dred' wants to be pm (da boss) badly.. and I wont let him! Him neither Minnis will ever see the light of day in that position. Don't want either of them representing me.
