To add.. I must go and give away the little I have left to the government and they can't seem to find the money or manpower to help those affected by Joaquin?? What happened to the VAT funds? or the monies from the 'Successful' Junkanoo Carnival? Millions spent on foolishness and now when people need help you can't find not a one? To hell with NHI!

seriously!!!!! That is truly disgusting and disturbing to know that they would use anything within reach to rectify the situation. This is indicative of how the country is run on the whole. No one thinks/brainstorms anymore, they just do-whatever! The first thing that comes to mind without ever thinking of further down the road. Piece of sh#@!
FYI: And if it were such a serious issue shouldn't something like this be reported to the public so that folks are fully aware of circumstances and the action that is being taken in regards to the pile?
I understand where you're coming from and agree with most of your points. However, you'll also find that many of these very same people that you speak of that sit in those pews, every blessed Sunday in church, do not READ or understand the Bible than what is dictated to them. I am not speaking of them.

I think he/she missed your point John. But I concur.. tourists are much more safer than the typical Bahamian. So, for this gentleman, regardless of what high profile news station takes note of him, goes on record to quote death figures when it does not even apply to the tourism culture is beyond me. He has hyped and distorted the information to fuel his agenda; and that is not right! So much misinformation and bias' are generated by the media (so called journalists) on a daily basis, and in today's world, if you are not aware of that, it's best you return to living under a rock! The media and celebrities alike hyped up world renown chef Wolfgang Puck, however, in all his worldly fame his catering business exposed some 3k people to Hepatitis? Think for yourselves people!
