A voice for the people ! She knows the truth..cruise ships are not Bahamian friendly. They are a disaster as an economic model for the Bahamas; they control how and where the tourist dollar is spent to their own gain, they pollute the waters around this nation, they are land resource parasites, sucking up for their own profits, and even the “taxes” they do pay are insufficient for the economic losses incurred. She works for the people, not the side-hustles….but why do we continue to elect political parasites of our own who suck the blood of our people, of our nation, for their greed? We shall reap what we sow !

Remember the Black Mirror episode on Netflix where people give instant ratings and blacklists which really mess up people’s lives? But we would need anonymity in this country! You can’t get a manager involved as they are likely friends, related, or willing to pay for shut mout’; and a cousin might be in a gang. So we tolerate the disrespect, the apathy, the discrimination, the hate, the laziness, and the lack of proper brought-upsy! I know a good few people who are so tired of it they are standing up and calling them out. If we all do what is right, expect what is right, demand, what is right, those doing wrong will soon learn. But if we stay silent…wrong prevails.

Based on my knowledge of the market there are listed luxury properties that have already sat unsold. Buyers want deals…buy low is an investment. What guarantees are there that the broker-appraised values are going to be equal to or above the purchase price paid to acquire said property? There are none! Manipulate the numbers to achieve a “fair market price” below the actual necessary sell price and the buyers will have their deals. That, is business in The Bahamas. More than that….the discount prices have already been offered to the Bahamian “elite”, and their foreign cronies; yes? Without transparency who will know? Who will go to jail? Is there any integrity or justice left?

USA as a superpower is an illusion. They are a bully boy in the playground who is in debt to silent puppet masters. They are seemingly tearing the world apart because their propaganda is effective on small minds, and small minds buy the lies. Seeing Kenya being used as a scapegoat means The Bahamas has to wise up and mind its own problems without buying into the geo-political games of the UN or the USA. Take care of home first!

Minnis’ leadership through Covid started off as being rational….and then the power-players came and he cringed and said the nation needed to get vaccinated. Now look at the apologies from Pfizer, the statistics on the outcomes, the rapidly rising turbo-cancer rates, the retraction oof mRNA usage by various governments because of vaccine/ clot related morbidity, the studies that damn such experimental biowarfare, etc etc…..do I trust him? no i dont! i know more Bahamians who have died or nearly died because they got the vax than I ever heard of in COVID! But THIS present government got ta go man! Still no transparency! Still got corruption! Still wanna talk about the climate problem but buying BMW! I am sick of career politicians. Time for new blood. Time for service to the people. Time for transparency. Time for true independence and not more debt!

People willing to work…..work needing to be done….the math looks clear! Give them a sense of civic responsibility….or are they too picky and proud to share in some pride for our nation? Our roads alone need a good sweep ;)

Did the Attorney consider education when he made his statement and “acknowledged the important role that intelligence plays as the government tries to get a handle on gang violence in the country.” Our D Minus education system breeds a lack of intelligence from the outset of a young man’s life. In living conditions where mold rages rampant, lack of nutrition plays its part in brain development, and prospects for a self-respecting manhood are overshadowed by our own countries elites hoarding the very resources that could change that, this nation seeths with a survivor mentality; and as anyone who has lived that knows…you need strength in numbers. Sneaky spying, CCTV, and facial recognition are not going to make things better. The KGB didn’t make Russia a gang-free place ;)

Let’s get real…..and raise the “awareness of the dangerous impact” of man’s laziness and man’s greed on the ocean.
We take the easy way out in our consumerist world and this has led to plastics, all kinds of plastics, all floating in our oceans. Do an experiment and put a huge amount of plastic particles in one container of water and none in the other. Leave with thermometers and a light overhead. Which one absorbs the heat?
We love our gluttonous cruises and the companies are only too happy to build more, and vastly bigger, ships for our hedonistic enjoyment. Do an experiment in a small paddling pool. Measure the level of water and start to add as many heavy floating “boats” as you can. Displacement much?

In a country where everything is for sale legislation only targets those with a civic and moral conscience because they feel bad if they are not being the responsible ones. Such legislative mindsets being shown by those in public”service” will only serve to break the civic upstanding of the very people they say they are not targeting. After all….these are not God’s laws, these are the manipulations of Rome!

If we had our own best interests at heart and we took our health seriously we would not need doctors and hospitals in the excessive way we do now. Funds would have been there for upgrading infrastructure and investing in modern technology and skill-sets as we prospered under a healing, and therefore prosperous, nation. But NO….we want to gluttonously feed our wants, greedily obtain our desires and lazily disregard all that is good for us. We have allowed ourselves to become needy, vulnerable, pawns to systems, like debt and the WHO, that are intrinsically designed to enslave us, suck the life out of us, and dispose of us.
