How much did he get paid by the UK in reparation for the loss of his slaves; he being the wealthiest slave owner at the time, with over twelve hundred slaves !!! It is a SHAME that the wealthy merchant class got paid reparation for the loss of their slave workers while the slaves were very often left to fend for themselves (?). (The Uk took out a lone from a Rothschild bank for that…did they need to pay it back….from the poor tax-payer) This is not about colour. It’s about exploitation ! cruelty, injustice, and finally giving human beings a chance to improve their quality of life (?) As long the government does not get the money, right? Also, if this committee wants to do anything right make sure, if there is any money, that it is transparent, accountable, and changes lives for the positive….and not a tool for perpetual (albeit black on white this time) racism and inequality.

How would she like that fight to begin? Surely it starts at the top. When those we are supposed to look up to have morals, ethics, are guided by their conscience, keep the nations laws, and advocate for transparency….then we might make progress as upright citizens. But when the whole system is corrupt, inept, beholden to the system, or paid off, from the PM down through government where one has to “sweeten” the Permanent Secretary, and even lawyers and so-called religious figures are a part of this system…who sets the example of upright character? Grandma may have given her grandchildren brought-upsy but now that generation all but gone….so who? Start with ya self, ya family, ya community, and demand transparency from those in government !

This is NOT a Christian nation ! Had it been it’s so-called offense would have caused such an uproar our “representatives” at that event would have been pulled. But no ! Egos mean more than Christ in this nation. Also…it’s a sporting event represented by many nations, and, in the spirit of sportsmanship, should be apolitical and without ideological agendas. If France has an ideology we don’t like….don’t be a part of it! Why do we accept things that stir our conscience but don’t follow our conscience? Self-reflection as a nation…what are our true core values and are we holding fast to them?

We are the stupidest species on the planet ! We send our kids to school to get “educated” but when some get some smarts they figure out how to get ahead, get into politics, and use the unfortunate ones as minions, keeping them barely able to feed themselves while the “smart” ones only goal is hedonistic self-indulgence, like BMWs, and power to keep that self-indulgence going. Bees and ants are smarter than the smartest in this country ! Shame on y’all ! Ain’t nobody fa da people except the people !

If we want to call our nation “Christian” our representatives should not be there. If they individually identify as “Christian” they should protest and leave. If they are there for their own ego or to represent an evil and anti Christian nation….by all means stay and excel in the name of that ideologies. The truth is though….this is a sports event and was taken on in the 1800’s in the spirit of good-will towards nations of the globe. It long ago overstepped that privilege and has become a political tool. boycott if you have any scruples left ! I for one, will not be watching and will support athletes breaking records in other sports, yet non ideological, events.
