From the reactions of Mr. Davis and Mr. Grimes you would think this was the first airline and the first country to have a strike. Check yourselves, I have seen many airlines deal with strikes and didn't react like the sky was falling. As far as effects on tourism, if they were really concerned about that they would be dealing with crime and not carrying on about a one day strike. Sounds to me like bruised egos here.

Put the blame where it belongs; on the criminals.

Mr. Ingraham has the right to speak as any citizen does. He is speaking now as a citizen of the Bahamas.

I have always thought the same of Dr. Minnis. I would like to see him given a chance as I think he would be a different leader, which we need.

Judges, prosecutors and lawyers need a reality check before the criminals start entering their homes committing the mayhem we are seeing daily in our country. I applaud the commissioner for speaking up. The reaction from the judiciary that he should be held in contempt makes me feel they are more concerned about respect for their system than what is going on in their country. Respect is earned; make sure the people in the system are honourable. That is how you earn respect.

If Cable Bahamas had not given such appallingly bad service all this time, they would not have to worry about competition. I have been waiting years for a competitor so I would no longer have to put up with the disgraceful service at Cable Bahamas.

Will Leslie Miller be micromanaging as he is now? Will Leslie Miller and his friends still not pay their BEC bills? If so, there is no way anyone is going to be able to reduce our bills.

Why is this even a news story? This is on the level of a gossip rag. I expect more from The Tribune.

Agreed. If the DNA and FNM continue as two parties, the PLP will continue to govern and God help us.

Please go on strike so Mr. Miller will resign.
