We the people of the Bahamas - whatever we are is what we are responsible for; the government, institutions, our conduct - our way of life. We the collective must address whatever needs addressing!

Most crimes are related to economic conditions. Cut the crap and solve the economic crisis in the country and you will see a reduction in crime. Doing anything else is ludicrous.

One would expect COB to have a credible accounting class [sic.] That is another example why COB ought to stay a college and the university ought to be on another island - other than New Providence!

The political rhetoric on all sides don't get it about crime! To take a bite out of crime - you have to address the cause. Causal of crime generally, is about economics. Address the economic disparities in the county - then we will see a reduction in crime. The addiction of political autism is rampant in all political parties. Hypocrisy is their religion, their rule of law and their way of life. The pillage on our way of life is depressing for most Bahamians. The Bahamas will not prevail until its people race to truth!

Scotiabank should have told the Baha Mar suits to take off their sunglasses. It seems - since they did not have them do so. Scotisbank'S policy is anti-Bahamian! The sunglass rule is crap along with Scotiabanks' negative attitude towards Bahamian clients and it's workers. Scotiabank need to take off its own sunglass!

The lucrative and valuable destination angling industry servicing the Bahamas - is - suffering catastrophic damage that is negatively affecting Bahamians at large. The folks that are going to the bank laughing, are the foreign operators that are exploiting the industry. They have more capital to invest in this resource. A resource that Bahamians need to invest in and exploit. Too long already our fly fishing economy is outsourced and monopolized by those entities. They are the group so uncomfortable with the pending legislation. We must control our resource for our citizens, as other nations does with theirs! We must stop the giveaway.

If the member was not present to speak at his appointed time; for whatever reason - and everyone else spoke, and the debate was still active, and he became available to speak on the issue. It is democratically right for the speaker to allow him to speak. He has that right as an elected MP - same as any other MP!

Bahamians ought to stop doing the same things and expecting a different result - with these FNM and PLP charades again and again. There is something terribly wrong with this country, its: PLP and FNM!

Like I said from the beginning those Baha Mar guys are a bunch of suits; they came up with a scheme and conned a lot of entities to get this far. Albeit, a con, but still kudos to them - it is the way business is done in the world. Unfortunately, no Bahamians were able to be so convincing to carry out a scheme like Baha Mar! Let the games begin and continue.

We must not be daft about trading with the Chinese or anyone for that matter! The future is in the East. the Chinese has their agenda as with everyone else. We are an independent nation that ought to trade with the world. No longer do we need to be tied to the West alone. A new international banking system (BRICS) is on stream and will grow by leaps and bounds - countries like Germany and others in Europe are joining. We need options from the hegemonic World Bank, IMF, US banks and so on. But most of all we need our own agenda; and if we are smart about it - we can accomplish tremendous advantages for our economy! However it cannot happen if we stay in this centralized colonial mentality. So, lets all be comrades and move the Bahamas onwards!
