Well_mudda_take_sic - you sure about that? I am told that Smith takes the immigration cases for free as a contribution to the cause of human rights. As far as his analysis of the political scene goes, I think he is spot on. The FNM are causing themselves an unnecessary headache and much ill will among the thousands of Haitian-Bahamian voters with this nonsense deadline to leave the country.
Yeah DDK, what are you talking about? This is exactly what Smith has always said. He is merely being consistent. I love how around here, something is true only if your party saying it. LOL
BahamasForBahamians is a PLP plant. Don't grace him/her with any attention whatsoever. As for the dissenters - we, who continually profess to be a 'Christian' people, are now asked to do something Christian, i.e. be our brother's keeper, love our neighbor as we love ourselves, and all we can do is stench and complain. Typical. Minnis is showing us the way to be a better people, and all we can do is accuse him of being out of touch. Pathetic.
Yeah banker, I get the Minnis-ter clever part, but 'of pain' is all wrong. Of reality, or of common sense or something would be fine. Pain for who? This is what we have all been calling for and what we held against the Christie Administration. The headline is just wrong.
Really? Under what law? As far as I knew, conflict of interest is outlined in the Manual of Cabinet Procedure, which is a manual, and not legally binding. That is why Allyson Maynard can't be prosecuted for her Baha Mar conflict, why Jeromie the Homie can't be prosecuted for begging Sarkis when he was in charge of the Baha Mar negotiations, etc. Go on tough guy...what law?
