BahamasForBahamians is a paid for PLP mouthpiece, clearly. Either that, or he/she can't understand the difference between conflict of interest and extortion [here is a clue - only one of them is a crime]. Every single case you mentioned regarding the FNM was an alleged conflict of interest and therefore the police have no business getting involved. So, either you are a sell-out poser troll or a downright idiot, take your pick.

Utter bullship. The airport tenants' agreement states explicitly that NAD cannot guarantee their tourism projections. This is a total farce. Hanna-Martin should be ashamed of herself - that is, if PLPs are actually capable of shame.

I am hearing the same thing Alex_Charles. What do you hear he is suspected of having done exactly?

Voltaire says...

Boy.... Well I skipped my college graduation to go get drunk! High school too I think.

Voltaire says...

Are you sure?

Voltaire says...

Squeal on dem Dion!! Everyone knows you are only small potatoes. Call out the big names and save yourself and the country one time!

Voltaire says...

Shameful! This is just beyond. If Shane was made to resign over Anna Nicole and Vincent Peet was rolled out for ...something, this fella simply has to bow out right now. Perry can't expect to even contest this election with this kind of conflict and corruption in his cabinet.

Voltaire says...

Yes the government knew full well and did zero about it. As usual, one law for their friends, another for the rest of us.

To those calling this a slap on the wrist – I think you may be missing the point(s). 1. Throughout his long and sordid life, no one has ever held this awful man to account, no court in any country ever, until now. The fine amount is nowhere near as important as the designation guilty. 2. Keep in mind that this is the first of three applications to put him in prison for contempt, the next two alleged offenses happened AFTER he was initially hauled to court for the dredging he was convicted of today. That means those offenses were egregious and insulting to the court. You can bet those fines / prison terms will be far more weighty than this one. 3. The utter shame of Nygard having to put the sand back on the public beach, which he has been starving of sand for decades to grow his own property, will be a beautiful sight to behold. This is just the start. Make no mistake, the mighty are beginning to fall...

Very well said.
