You should be much more worried about the ongoing invasion of our country by illegal Haitian aliens because once that's been fully accomplished none of us Bahamians will have a home to worry about.

> K Peter Turnquest, launching the House of Assembly debate on the government’s extra $508m financial needs, said it had no choice but to borrow as the alternatives were to either “starve the economy” or “break the back of taxpayers”.

And no sooner will these funds be borrowed and squandered by the failed social and economic policies of the corrupt Minnis-led government, then K P Turnquest will be telling us that government has no choice but to significantly increase VAT, other taxes and government fees, national insurance contributions, etc.

Turnquest does however have a responsible alternative choice, albeit the one no non-corrupt politician likes. He can call for serious belt-tightening measures to be taken, like reducing the grossly over-bloated size of our non-productive civil workforce, deporting the very costly illegal Haitian aliens, cutting out many of the other wasteful government spending programmes, doing away with lavish travel allowances, etc., etc.

The people elected the Minnis-led FNM government to break the vicious cycle of spend, spend, spend, fueled by more borrowings and then followed by additional overly-burdensome taxes and government fees, and on and on and on. We are spiraling down the rabbit hole of unsustainable national debt and this madness must be stopped lest the vast majority of Bahamians will once again be returned to slavery, this time as as debt bondage slaves forever more!

Slime ball Smith was a big time proponent of 'spend, borrow and tax' policies when he had a significant voice at the central bank and later in the ministry of finance. This shameless guy has played a major role with previous PLP governments in cementing the structural deficiencies in our economy that have encouraged the vicious cycle of 'spend, borrow and tax' governance by successive governments. These structural deficiencies include the grossly over-bloated size of our government which Smith has consistently justified as a necessary type of social welfare system even if it means it must be sustained by taking on unsustainable levels of national debt. Smith is a pseudo-intellect and pretend economist with no real idea or understanding of how private sector wealth and jobs can (and should) be created in a non-manufacturing service dependent economy like ours. What a shameless idiot! Hopefully MOF Turnquest, PM Minnis and CB Governor Rolle have totally tuned him out.

Our government should be telling Gioria Israel that the Bahamian people have had enough of shiite and contaminants that Carnival's cruise ships have been dumping in our territorial waters with impunity for decades, notwithstanding umpteen warnings. Carnival is well known to be one of the worst (most greedy and corrupt) corporate enterprises on the planet.

The right thing for our government to do now is tell Giora Israel that Carnival's cruise ships are no longer welcome in Bahamian waters and therefore they should pack their bags and take all of their shiite dumping business elsewhere. This would send a powerful deterrent message to all of the other cruise ship companies operating in our territorial waters.

The decline in the quarantine numbers probably means our corrupt Minnis-led FNM government is wrongfully succumbing to pressure from the ruthless Xi-led communist regime to relax the border control and quarantine restrictions that were put in place to protect the Bahamian people from persons travelling to the Bahamas from Red China. Our corrupt cabinet ministers apparently care more about all of the various deals they have cut with Red Chinese enterprises than they do about the lives of the Bahamian people. Simply unbelievable!

> Minnis: "Govt Will Only Take Up Pledges Which Are In Our Interests."

What Minnis really means is that **his** corrupt FNM government will only take up pledges which are in **his** interests.

Why haven't these illegal Haitian aliens been rounded up and deported?

Where is Hubert Minnis? Where is Frankie Campbell? Where is Elsworth Johnson? And what about Darren Henfield!

Why are Minnis, Campbell, Johnson and Henfield cracking their whips with corrupt senior government officials within the immigration department, registry of births, registry of marriages and passport office in an effort to get official papers issued to these illegal Haitian aliens that would allow them to remain in the Bahamas?

The vast majority of these Haitian aliens broke the law by illegally entering our country and therefore, as criminals, should not be entitled to now receive official papers of any kind that would allow them to remain in the Bahamas. By arranging for many of these illegal Haitain aliens to be wrongfully issued with work and other residency-type permits, marriage certificates, etc., Minnis, Campbell, Johnson and Henfield are literally encouraging other Haitians in Northern Haiti to pay thousands of dollars to the human smugglers who then illegally bring them to our shores. This madness must be stopped. stop giving official papers to these illegal aliens and immediately start rounding them up and deporting them!

When you hear CDB, think IDB. They're one and the same big lending teat ("tit") at the sucking lips of our corrupt Minnis-led FNM government officials. The mission for these related regional and international lending agencies is to cripple our country with unsustainable national debt, leaving the vast majority of Bahamians as debt bonded slaves.

Once all is said and done, only the corrupt political elite who would have totally sold out their fellow Bahamians for pennies on the dollar will be able to buy bread, afford to brush their teeth with a toothbrush and toothpaste, and indulge in wiping their butts with TP. We're gonna be the next Venezuela thanks to the spend, spend, spend policies of Turnquest and Minnis if we are foolish enough to re-elect them.
