The corrupt Tweedle-Dumb Minnis-led FNM government has inflicted this TB scourge on us by not stopping the constant flow of large numbers of illegal Haitian aliens into our country. Perhaps the judge who all too willingly gave QC Smith the injunction he wanted to prevent the eradication of the many disease infested shanty towns throughout the Bahamas will have a re-think of her folly.

Not so.

The Tribune's reporting is much too shallow and nothing is ever followed up on or thoroughly investigated. The Tribune's business model is too profit oriented at the expense of public service through investigative journalism and reporting.

And we certainly don't need 100,000 low-wage workers from Red China flooding into our job market overnight.

It's new wealth creation through increased productivity in a favourable business environment that should drive higher wages. Simply paying higher wages for the same low level of productivity in a lousy business environment only results in job layoffs, a higher cost of living and further contraction in an already severely distressed economy.

The only tradition we have kept is corrupt governments and the current Tweedle-Dumb Minnis-led FNM government is proving that to be the case in spades.
