@ThisIsOurs: You had better hurry up and take all of that vacation you've accrued over the years, especially if you're nearing retirement age. LMAO

@Tarzan: You're just a global climate change denier no matter what, but thankfully there are fewer and fewer of you because of the very visible effects of the changes, e.g. extremely high King/Lunar tides, increased frequency of major hurricanes like Dorian, etc., etc. In any event, the changes are happening and must be reckoned with no matter what may be causing them.

Most Bahamians over the age of 60 will tell you that the sea level today is much higher than it was when they were a child.

Let's hope K P Turnquest has started budgeting for the cost of constructing and maintaining the many miles of levees and seawalls our country will certainly need. And hopefully his revised budget will also show a generous allocation of funds for the sustained deportation of illegal aliens. Or perhaps we should just turnover the Bahamas to the invading force of illegal Haiti aliens after those of us who can have fled to another country (?!)

Rolle and our Central Bank seem to do nothing but regurgitate whatever information is determined and fed to them by the international agencies controlled by the globalist elites who represent the governments of the developed countries.

They've got their nerve asking all of 'true' Bahamians where is our compassion.

Where was their lawfulness when they took it upon themselves to illegally enter our country to excessively procreate and heavily suck on education, healthcare and many other social and welfare benefits funded by us 'true' Bahamian taxpayers?!

Minnis needs to get off of his butt and start aggressively deporting these illegal aliens on a regular and sustained basis. Guaranteed deportation is the only loud and constant message that we should be sending to all other Haitian nationals back in Haiti who may be thinking about paying human traffickers to smuggle them into the Bahamas. There is no other way of dealing with this problem bearing in mind that Haiti's total population is well over 5 million. Deportation is the only means of deterrence.

The evidence is overwhelmingly irrefutable that our small nation is being literally suffocated and choked to death by an invading force of many many thousands of illegal Haitian aliens. do something about it minnis, don't just give us lip service!!

On Evacuees ask - where is your compassion?

> " .......I believe there are several options, including government spurring the economy by covering costs to develop subdivided crown land."

What a load of self-serving crapola. Carey should read "taxpayers" wherever he sees the word government in the above article. We taxpayers own the Crown Land and he wants it all pushed into the pool of properties subject to the outrageous commission rates charged by realtors like himself. It now seems Carey is as greedy as Snake when it comes to getting the government (i.e. the taxpayers) to let go of Crown Land for free so that the already privileged select few in our society can get even richer off of property development and real estate transactions.
