Sands can waffle on all he wants, but it's now abundantly clear that our new supreme ruler has one set of very loose and flexible orders for those who have plenty of money and another set of very rigid and strict orders for those of us who are not so lucky to be rich. Unbelievable!
And we know who's thinking: "They all better stay hungry in their homes come da weekend if they don't wanna be arrested and locked up somewhere else !"
Agree. Those who don't want an opposition voice are the same ones who would happily see the right to free speech thrown out the window for all but their supporters.
Tourists would need to provide proof that they have effective anti-bodies for the covid-19 virus before gaining entry to our country and until such time an effective vaccine is developed and made readily available to the public at large.
It certainly seems wealthy non-Bahamians get to enjoy more civil liberties and rights in our country today than Bahamian citizens themselves.
One thing is for sure: There was a 'quid' - the diagnostic test kits - and a 'quo' - the permission to disembark the plane and remain in The Bahamas.
Also interesting to note that the decision for these two non-Bahamians to be tested today for covid-19 appears to have been taken after this matter flared up in the public domain.
A CDC official recently said it could take up to five minutes or so for concentrated bleach to kill the covid-19 virus when poured directly on it. Were any scientific tests done to verify the ability of this new product to quickly kill the covid-19 virus?
Here we see a most disgraceful effort by Minnis and Sands to carry water for their Red Chinese masters by insinuating the US is to blame for the problems our country has in obtaining vaccines for diseases like flu and measles.
Why has Sands failed to disclose that the real problem is Red China not paying its fair share of the costs of international organizations like the WHO? In recent years the US has been annually funding the WHO to the tune of about US$500 million compared to the less than US$40 million of annual funding provided by Red China. And the same is true of Red China's failure to pay anywhere near its fair share of the annual operating costs of many other international organizations. Instead, the very decitful and ruthless Xi Jinping communist regime has been busily increasing its influence in these international organizations by corrupt means, essentially 'buying' the support of key officials within these organizations including many key officials on their various committees.
If there's a country to be blamed for The Bahamas not being able to obtain the vaccines it needs, that country is Red China, not the US!
No way! You make the mistake and give these very greedy and most disgusting cruise ship companies an inch and they will try take a mile. We need to keep their monstrous filthy floating hotels well away from all of our islands, and preferably out of our territorial waters from a pollution standpoint, for as long as possible, and at least until a tried and tested effective vaccine for covid-19 is readily available to the public.

Sadly Minnis and Moultrie have a lot in common when it comes to displaying the traits of a bullying brute.
There are now very few who would not agree that Moultrie is most ill-suited to be Speaker of The House.

The donation of a very large quantity of this new product would be most welcomed by Commissioner Murphy and the inmates he has charge of.
