This little marsh mallow headed buffoon needs to stop heavily sucking on the sweet milk produced by the tit put to his lips by those with a very greedy vested interest in the equally greedy cruise ship industry.

And what if the company is no longer around, i.e. went belly up? I don't think the threat of a penalty will have any sway in that case. In fact, I seriously doubt a penalty would be enforced against an enterprise known to be owned or otherwise connected to one of the wealthier and more loyal FNM supporters, i.e. a crony. We all know how that goes in our little corrupt country!

@joeblow: You obviously haven't heard about the Pope washing the unclean feet of prisoners at Easter time....but I guess that would be even more lowly for a medical doctor or medical assistant to do than spraying the soles of a patient's shoes with isopropyl alcohol 70%+ if need be. And no medical doctor should unnecessarily withhold vital medical treatment from any patient simply because they may happen to be a little disagreeable, especially when there is more than one easy way available to skin the cat. All physicians take an important oath for their privilege to practice medicine and if they can't live up to it then they should simply hang up their white robe for good.

Delusional wishful thinking at best. The numbers are being carefully massaged as was the case with the number of deaths caused by Hurricane Dorian.

It's painfully obvious that Minnis and Dames told Paul Rolle to get out there in public and fall on his own sword in an effort to deflect blame from themselves for their very insensitive, uncaring and heartless decision to approve the very costly promotions of so many senior police officers at a time like this when so many Bahamians are going without so much and are struggling daily to just survive.

There isn't a Bahamian alive who doesn't know Paul Rolle lacked the authority to approve these outrgeous promotions at this time and that such approval must have come directly from Minnis and Dames. But here we once again see how Minnis and Dames alike are willing to throw anyone under the bus. In this instance they have shamefully required the police commissioner to genuflect to them by taking responsibility for their very foolish decision. And sadly, Paul Rolle has exercised poor judgement in accommodating them by not disclosing that the final decision on his proposed promotions becoming effective was not his to make.

The potential for explosive violence at Fox Hill Prison presents a clear and present national security risk that must be immediately addressed by Minnis and Dames. Security needs to be beefed up and the prison guards should be provided with an ample supply of personal protective equipment, hand sanitizers and other cleaning agents. To the extent possible, without creating additional security risks, the prisoners should periodically receive an adequate supply of safe sanitizers and other cleaning agents. All prisoners should receive each day adequate rations of food and fresh water. Prisoners requiring medical attention should get it and those requiring ongoing medications should receive them.

The pay and benefits of the prison guards and other vital personnel working on the prison grounds or within the prison administrative system should not be cut. Commissioner Murphy should speak up loudly if the prison system needs or is not receiving, with the full assistance of both Minnis and Dames, the manpower and supplies required to prevent an explosive breakout of violence by the more troublesome prisoners that could have very grave national security implications.
