Not a single, stupid individual; collective responsibility, collective stupidity, collective corruption by power, collective greed, collective arrogance, collective narcissism, and a collective fantasy that "the Bahamian voters will never know what we doin'"

That's what happens when the electorate is stupid enough to elect rats to guard our cheese!! What a tragic, tragic mistake was made in 2012.

Exactly, Mr. Smith; " appearance IS another matter". Honest people don't need to point to "the fine print" of our parliamentary rules to decide on issues of right and wrong. They know in their minds and hearts what is truly honorable, what is just, what is righteous and what is ethical.

Remember Jiminy Cricket in Pinocchio? "Always let your conscience be your guide".

We are all faced with issues of conscience as we go through our lives. How we deal with these issues decides whether "Honorable" belongs in front of our name or whether it does not.

There is no default position which says that he or she who occupies the highly respected Office of Prime Minister is to be respected, no matter what. We judge him or her on their performance and if their performance makes us lose respect for them as a person, then they, not us, have brought the Office of Prime Minister into disrespect. THEY have disappointed us, THEY have let us down, THEY have betrayed our trust and THEY have besmirched and damaged the, formerly, highly respected Office of Prime Minister.

We jus' noticing what's going on.

Sad, but true. It almost seems time for the Free FNM!! If the current FNM Members of the House don't want Minnis, if the financial backers don't want Minnis, and if the brightest and most forward-thinking members of the FNM don't want Minnis, then Minnis and his crew look more and more like a millstone around the neck of the FNM!!

If the brightest and best of the FNM broke away, what remained as the old FNM would then be indistinguishable from the PLP!!

If the brightest and best of the FNM aligned themselves with the brightest and best of the PLP and DNA they would be be seen by the voters as the "Cream of the Crop". They would represent the best and only hope for a new bahamas with a Government that finally was based on personal integrity, accountability, a lack of cronyism, and they would finally have dumped the stigma of the old worn out "Post Independence Government" that has crippled this country for the past 40 years.

The new "Cream of the Crop Party" would be warmly embraced by a Bahamian electorate that is sick and tired of "business as usual" in the House of Assembly. Would they garner sufficient support to win the next election???.....I think that they would! Our present day Bahamian society is more ready than ever to embrace a meaningful change and to "Seize the Moment" that the "CCP" would represent!

Sheeps,
I suspect that the FNM Council is filled with conservative " warmed-over" political operatives who have been a part of the FNM since day 1. Trouble is they may have passed their "best used by date" and are stuck in the "old-style Bahamian politics mode" that many younger Bahamians want no part of.

I thought the Bahamian voters did NOT have confidence in our AG! Wasn't she soundly rejected at the polls during the last General Election?
