I’m so familiar with this writing style, that after reading the first few sentences, I immediately know it’s “The Graduate”, same for letters written by Ortland Bodie Jr.
Why doesn't Minnis look at the dates of past boundary commission review/communications tabled in parliament, or get a lawyer and test Article 70? That is better than just saying that the Government is breaking the law.
I'm not a lawyer, but a layman, so I have no idea of the distinction or intention of explicitly stating a time interval in that part of the constitution.
The society is indeed breaking down. Top down, bottom up, however they say it. It’s also rather uncanny that there was a piece in the Nassau Guardian paper today about some CIA files that were recently declassified about Pindling in the late 1980’s.
Not only are there gangs, but the probability of reaching any proper resolution tends to zero, due to the complex connection of family ties whether by enforcement, victims, or perpetrators. The situation we find ourselves in, is so far down the line...honestly, I don’t know what to say.
Yes, everyone seems to be more wary this time around. For the 2014 "opening", [Baha Mar had received 14,000+ job requests](http://www.tribune242.com/new… "Baha Mar gets 14,000 job requests.").
I presume they will not be able to exceed or match that this time around, as some now understand how this game is played. Keep your job and don’t risk it on this mess. If you don’t have a job, it's an opportunity.
This opening is also turning out to be something of a political trick (what do they mean by soft opening or was it “very soft opening”?). Either way, the biggest problem with Baha Mar is its sustainability after it “really” opens. Election is around the corner...
Have you ever wondered why numbers were “illegal” but no one really penalized? The lotteries and gaming act was limited in what it could do especially with internet gaming. The police would raid a few places only to find it mostly a waste of time. Same with looming, you’re mostly on your own if you get screwed over, sad but true.
I’m not a smart guy, but I usually have a hunch when someone’s trying to swing. The Government is still losing money, how much is a more fair and debatable question.
To say that they are not losing a single dollar in VAT is bold claim.
When you hear about someone not collecting money upfront, usually the next word after that is “interest”. So, what is the loss for NOT collecting VAT upfront.
Gowon Bowe suggests that there is no loss. Fitzgerald says it’s only a minimal amount. Halkitis says nothing. So that only leaves speculation.

Out of the first 23 days of this year, my power has been off at some point at least 7 of those days. I hope the DPM lose his seat, they had 5 years.
The only patience I have is to convince everyone I know who lives in your constituency to vote you out of office, no questions asked.
