LOL! In the land of the blind the one-eyed man is king. So true... I'm not so sure about the feasibility of this so called pilot program, but you make a really good point.
Sounds grand, but I’m a very wary person. The Bahamas has a strange habit of adopting the absolute worst apsects of first world countries to their own detriment under the guise of change.
I don’t think anyone is suggesting that VAT should have been 100% dumped into the debt. That’s absolutely crazy. The problem is that this current Government set the directive for the intention and purpose of VAT, and is getting deserved backlash. The goal they have established for themselves cannot be quantified, especially in light of consistent economic downgrades.
False reports of terrorists one day, and then the next day someone actually firebombs the court. You can’t make this up, what in the world is going on?
Sound and fury? Small things. Just you wait until the election atmosphere really kicks off. It is taking longer this time, but once it begins, many more people will seemingly lose their minds. Crowd psychology.
The American mainstream news media is an absolute free for all, it's sad. Everyone should know by now that at least 98% of the news reported on American main stream media are either misrepresented truths or flat out lies. It's pathetic. They are so desperate to create a false narrative that they can't report accurate news.
I find this hard to believe as well considering that Ingraham hinted on a news broadcast some time ago that Minnis wasn’t even listening or taking advice from him. Why go to the PM, leader of the PLP for advice on internal FNM affairs? That makes no sense, even for Minnis. You must have a lot of insider info.
Of course it is a farce, it doesn't take very long to find this out, especially if you’ve seen a few conventions. I’ll never fully understand it, but I think people just like worshiping man.
The leadership bid from Sears was comedic, a 7 to 1 loss? That’s not a serious bid at all, as usual for the PLP, not withstanding the last minute stacking of delegates which was a complete overkill.
We won’t see real change until all the people currently living are dead and gone, or maybe there will be young people who are resolved and committed to forcefully take the power from the hands of their predecessors, because that is what they have to do. This aint America.
I agree as well. Didn’t want to say it, but it looked like some half-hearted attempt at making the PLP look like it was democratic. His bid lacked all the tell tale signs of someone truly intent on obtaining the party leadership.
