I don’t think anyone is suggesting that VAT should have been 100% dumped into the debt. That’s absolutely crazy. The problem is that this current Government set the directive for the intention and purpose of VAT, and is getting deserved backlash. The goal they have established for themselves cannot be quantified, especially in light of consistent economic downgrades.

The American mainstream news media is an absolute free for all, it's sad. We won’t see real change until all the people currently living are dead and gone, or maybe there will be young people who are resolved and committed to forcefully take the power from the hands of their predecessors, because that is what they have to do. This aint America.

I agree as well. Didn’t want to say it, but it looked like some half-hearted attempt at making the PLP look like it was democratic. His bid lacked all the tell tale signs of someone truly intent on obtaining the party leadership.
