Let's be honest after having all this information then what. This is a futile waste of time. Read the laws about disclosure it still left in the hands of the PM. This just a smokescreen to give us some sort of semblance to a Freedom of Info Act. After finding out how much an MP is worth then what? How will this information help us?
The criminals winning because most of these politicians during the last elections encouraged these terrorist to carry out heinous acts to make the former government look bad. Now it coming back to haunt them double-fold. They reclassifying crimes and it still an ugly sight. Crime is a multifaceted issue and the PLP made it political and karma has come to claim her rewards. Sadly at the price of blood. This banana republic on the verge of collapse. Only the grace of the Most High can save us now.
Why don't Mr. Miller pay his bill on time. Why doesn't he give an account for all the contracts he has awarded since becoming chairman. The real blood suckers is this PLP government and their croonies who pillaging the funds and want slide blame on everyone else, blind charming the public. Get on with the privatization and get rid of loud mouth,do nothing like Mr. Miller and get this corporation into shape. He needs to be blamed, he is the gung-ho chairman who promise me my light bill would be lower, now that it isn't and he want blame someone else. You to the wheel, you to blame. Sad. This PLP government is plenty talk and no show and what even sadder is foolish Bahamians who fall for such windbags! Tired of all the barking, let's see some action.
I have been on the beaches at Normandy.Went inside one of the pillars and stood on the hilltop. What was so amazing to me was how calm the beach was and to just imagine the chaos that had erupted there in contrast. The Burial areas are solemn sites. At the Allies you can see and hear veterans sobbing to the background of silence. At the Axis site, no visitors, just black crosses. Visited St. Michel and I just was in awe at what the men had to face during this decisive battle. Amazing.
"People have to learn how to play this game." Ohhhhh taking care of the people's business is a game now. These Dishonarable Members need to put in a field, naked and whipped until unconscious. They are a disgrace. party politics should never supersede the welfare of the Bahamian people. The thing is they have the audacity to spew such nonsense in public. They honestly believe they are above the law and can operate without impunity. We really need to uproot this entire system and start afresh.
I met this gentleman in passing at Port Lucaya last year. He was telling a friend of how he was arrested after the incident at Fortune Bay with his heavy equipment. He also mentioned how the party involved had offered him a fee that was WAY below value for the property and how he had refused it. The Supreme Court only takes on cases which are valid in their opinion. The port authority has served its usefulness in Grand Bahama. It is one of the main reasons economic growth has been stifled in GB to keep their pockets lined. Some of the blame should be placed at Grand Bahamians who seem to believe that they owe the PA for GB's development. But they have been compensated over the years a million fold. Now it seems that and I say it seems, that they are resorted to murder to keep Grand Bahamians in bondage. Successive governments have kept renewing the lease without even renegotiating the terms because the PA have them in their pockets and their croonies could get high paying jobs and political contributions from the PA. Enough is enough! Time for us as Bahamians to send a strong message to the PA, that if they are implicated that we will not tolerate this. They are no better than the criminals who are systematically destroying our Bahamaland. People how much more can we take? I will bet you that we will hear some phony baloney story about some kind of love triangle. Sad.
Most of yall who talking about collect taxes what owed haven't paid yall real property tax since yinna build yall house. so be careful what ya wish for. I know one this as long as Haitians squatting on good land and ain't paying squat ( because they squatters) I will be hard press to pay for land as a Bahamian.
So the PM can't be tired after spending all yall money.Give the man a break telling ,you the country is in bad shape and then spending your money like it can't end can take a lot out of a man.
