I agree, BahamasFor Bahamas, and she is being protected by family members and friends in the government, while others are taking the fall. There is no accountability at BPL. This will happen again. Same applies for bringing Basden back.

It seems like radio station licences are likened to the taxi plates. Cronies and flunkies own them, and lease them out, without ever having any intention of operating them. Rutherford, for all his Olympic achievements, is not in the Radio business, and one can only wonder how he got a license in the first place.

I questioned the actions of the previous Government when they established Resolve and began to absorb the non performing loans of BOB at our expense. Now our new Government who should be prosecuting the gangsters who fraudulently obtained these loans and the officers of the bank who facilitated them, seems to be following in the footsteps of the PLP who they criticized so badly. Paul McQueeny received a handsome severance package for his part in this fiasco. God knows what Richard Demeritte got. Paul is now working for the Snake and we are bailing the bank out again. For what reason? Because Dionisio is a shareholder? Are we serious about a change of the status quo? I do not think so.

Welcome to the real world. All politicians" talk the talk", to get elected, and never "walk the walk" after being elected. They avoid the problems and citizens who elected them like the plague, have selective memory when it comes to election campaign promises, and do not carry out their ministerial responsibilities. The response in this situation is no different than if under a PLP government, and oil spills along the coast of Long Island are way down on this Governments priority list.

I would not categorize a person who invests 250,000, to be a major investor. This benchmark must be much higher. Seems to me that when one applies for investment approval, the work permit application should be part and parcel and all aspects of the investment project can be approved simultaneously. This appears to be another system of loopholes designed to let friends, and friends of friends into our country. If the investment can be in the form of a real estate purchase, one can only wonder as to who in the honourable house is in the real estate business. I trust they are speaking of investments that generate Bahamian employment, cash flow, NIB, Business license fees, and other related government revenue. If not, something foul is afoot.

Bradley Roberts is not one who should have the balls to speak about ethics. But as I said before, why are we continuing to give him headline coverage, when all he utters is B---s--t?

Mr. Dean, I believe that you are a good officer at heart, but surely by now you must realize that asking people to discontinue this rabid abuse of social media is not working. Time to trace down these offenders and arrest them.

Not to worry. We can always bring in expat Cuban and Filipino doctors to send to Dominica. They are all you see at the PMH and Clinics anyway. Meanwhile, qualified Bahamian Nurses, Doctors, and Pharmacists, are relocating or being placed at the back of the line behind all others. Lets see who volunteers. Maybe Sands and Minnis will go.
