Rest assured. If the FNM wins the government, the Commission of Enquiry and prosecutions you refer to, will come post haste. No wonder those guilty of blatant corruption are shaking in their boots, and using all underhanded methods available to them to stay in power. They are afraid they will join Wilbert Moss in the history books as M/P's (or former M/P's) who have been incarcerated.

Lets see now: Leslie owes BOB 20 plus million, BEC hundreds of thousands; Obie owes BOB millions, Shane just got caught in the Nygard deal; Jerome-Bahamar, and the Rubis coverup; Smith and Bradley-Stolen car from Fla. majically returned when questions began to arise; Maynard-Gibson and the stores in Bahamar; The PM 's son and his commission from the Hilton Deal; etc.,etc.,etc.
But Mackey is unfit to hold public office. Ha Ha. Get real.

People purchase hurricane and risk insurance to protect them from acts of nature such as Hurricanes. In many cases those with mortgages are forced to pay for insurance as a stipulation of their contract, and in some cases, are directed to specific insurances companies.
Everytime there is a storm the insurance companies cry because they don't make as much as they forecasted, but how many of them ever lose money. None. And how many of them close down. None. They simply increase the premiums across the board, with no regard for those who never claim, and get the blessing of the Govt. to do so. RoyalStar netted a million plus, and is crying about one year when they had to pay some claims. If you do not wish to take the risk, get out of the business, otherwise enjoy your profits.

On RoyalStar profits drop 73% in 2016

John, I think they are referring to the Hilton hotel sale. Not Bahamar.

"Though shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain". Don't joke with God's name, I guess, or use it flippantly.

The story alleged that the PM's son made some $2.5 million representing half of the fee of $5 million from this real estate deal. The PM is saying that it is crazy to think that his son could earn more in one fell swoop than he himself has earned in 40 years in politics. $2.5 million over 40 years calculates to be $62,500 per year. Is the PM saying that he did not earn more than this amount for his career? Come on. He has been PM for ten years and an MP for forty years. Is the electorate going to swallow this story too? Check the annual salary and perks for the PM. The facts will speak for themselves. Wow.

Your saying "You got it wrong" is your opinion and not a fact. You are judging me based on my view on something, because it differs from yours. What makes you more right than I? Yes the people will judge the party on five years of their performance, or lack thereof, but they could not prejudge the PM on statements made until they were made. But thank you for illuminating how much superior your right to speak is to mine.

I am not the judge and the jury, the people are. They will decide how to take his jokes and obscenities. I am however, just as you are, allowed to form my interpretation of any situation in my country. You are judging me, so how is that different.

This is not the first time the PM made a reference to God. If I recall he once said "God has to come through me". Do not forget his recent "flip of his finger", and obscenities at a public rally.
No matter how you cut it, he is being disrespectful, and one has to wonder if he is stable. Minnis has no responsibility to tell the people how to react to these actions, as, even though he has not lowered himself to such standards, the PM would not do the same for him. As the people elected Mr. Christie, they are entitled to form their own opinions about his actions. He likes to use the term "reap what you sow". It is now harvesting time.

Tal,
as far as I know, Minnis has never said God can't stop him. This alone sets him apart from Christie, who is greater than God (his own words). Believe what you will or what pleases you.
