This is unbelievable actions for the people. Sounds like to me they just want to go home. Everyone for theirselves. The Bahamas has no chance for change without a total change in leadership.

It is weird that the government offices are closed. Right now they should be working overtime for the people already hit by Irma. Where there are shortages of water and food, figuring out how to bring more in. In the States they would never be elected again. They are responsible for the preparation and the aftermath.

The largest hurricane on record in the United States. All of Fla is under a state of emergency. This is a bad one. Take care.

I was coming week after next. It looks like this might need to be rescheduled. I doubt Breezes will be open for business. I hope this storm by passes the Islands. The next time I'm off work is the holiday's. Junkanoo would be good or the marathon in January, if they do that this year. I wouldn't mind running that. I'm thinking positive God has his hand on your beautiful islands, and is taking care of all of you.

I'm still praying for everyone's well being, God still answers prayer. Even among non believers. A couple of you know why I added that. Criticism won't effect my belief's.

Banker and Omg I've asked all of those questions before. Without suffering there would be no compassion. I chose to have faith and believe in prayer. There is a reason for everything or so I believe. Well and I guess I could respond glad it's you and not me. Well what do you expect you live on a Island. Screw everyone else. That's not me. I have compassion and the love for people. I'm always nice because I chose to be. Well unless you mess with my family, well have you ever seen a momma bear. She would run. Kindness goes along way.

I'm praying for all areas in danger. They are saying that this hurricane may be the strongest on record and could wipe towns off the map. We have family on the coast of the US and they are packing and getting out. On a Island, where do you go. Prayers for all and God is good.

I said it a couple of weeks ago and people seemed to be offended, but John is right. I read this paper daily and article after article addresses the current problems with todays youth. There also a lot of good ideas, but I don't see anyone doing anything. It starts at home. Where are your children. Have you shared a meal with them today? Have they even had a meal today ? Is your family unit strong or have family ties been broken. If you truly want things to change, start at home with your family. If everyone did this things would change for the better. It's Sunday , get together with your family today. It will be fun.

Who knows John Braynen. I'm a friend looking to say Hi again on one of my trips to the Island. It's been more than 30 years. Please help. Would just like to let him know that I was coming to the Island and where I'm staying. He was friends with my mom and I. I lost Patti (my mom twenty years ago), she lived in Nassau the last 5 years of her life. Our hearts have always been in the islands. He's a truly missed friend. Lisa
