Your totally right, but what's going to happen if the area isn't cleaned up. The cruise lines are already porting in on their private islands and wanting to keep tourist away from populated areas. I understand not many people fly in any more and stay for a week or more. This is what I prefer, but we aren't talking about me. And by the way I don't agree with what they are doing. One incident with the tourist affects their sales quite a bit, until people forget and come back. If it were made more tourist friendly wouldn't that help the economy quite a bit.

Wow my self confidence as a well maintain middle aged white women would be shot if I hung out with you. Some people think I'm attractive. I'm not looking forward to becoming a wrinkled crone with huge droopy mammary glands. Now were going to build a wall to keep us out. Thank god that everyone doesn't see us that way. I suppose this didn't include middle aged men (white or black). I don't see color!

Ok! John I appreciate your information, but I'm a 56 woman that fell in love with a Bahamian Man more than 30 years ago. I have always had a place in my heart for him. Not too long ago I decided I'm singe again, I'm going to find him. Well I didn't say I didn't date, but not married. I date one man here and he's a wonderful man and takes care of all of my needs. Sexual contracts and paying for sex, are you making a joke. Ok maybe I'm not main stream. Anyway not all women fall into your categories. I haven't seen John (his name as well) in more than 30 years, but out of feeling for him and respect I would not date another man in the islands. I would want to give us a chance first. Call me a dreamer, I'm a believer in going for something you really want. I can honestly say I love him after all of these years. My experience in life is not as you described.

I just left the island. Although I didn't rent a jet ski, the Bahamian men were more than gentlemen with me. They do flirt, but if told not interested they understood. Don't let a few bad incidents ruin it for everyone. Maybe a better background check, I'm not sure but crime is everywhere. Obviously I hate it for the victims. I love the Islands! I was there to enjoy the island and find a old friend from years past and let everyone know that and I was treated with respect. That was my experience, and I was traveling alone.

I'm here and I can't give them my business. I have heard and seen too much.
Sorry I want success for the Bahamian economy but this Resort just seems to come with too many bad omens.

Most tourists won't know the history of BahaMar, I do and will not stay there. I think about all of the corruption and Bahamians screwed out of jobs and pay. No, my money will go to other locals that deserve the business. I'm not a gambler so the casino doesn't attract me either. If I was I would go to Atlantis.

I wish this wasn't the case, but it seems to be. I hope the newly elected officials have a clue and want to fix the problems. I'm here right now and sense a lot of hardships that the Bahamian people have been living with. It is a shame. You live in a paradise, but it's hard to see that when your unemployed and your family is going without. I pray for change everyday. I was hoping to find a old friend, no luck so far.

Yes, I was very surprised when I flew in a couple of days ago. There will be all kinds of long term health problems from this. Here enjoying the Island and looking for a old friend.

I need to keep what I think to myself. Sometimes I find someone was offended by it and I wasn't being critical of young Bahamian men, it was just my opinion of why so many have turned to crime. I love the Bahamian people young and old. I wish the best for the future of the islands and their economy and it's people. I hope this new establishment brings so much wanted growth to the area. That couldn't hurt.
