Unfortunately John your probably right. Our government is more corrupt than you want to know.

God Bless these families! I'm planning on traveling to Nassau alone soon. I've been trying to locate a friend from years past. Is it safe. Really I don't know. I used to walk all over the Island and felt totally safe. I just don't know anymore. I don't want to go to Paradise Island and stay just on the hotel property. That's not why I come to the Island. I can't explain it. I left my heart there years ago. Now it breaks my heart to see so many people hurting.

If it's like in the US, then they end up sick and the government doesn't want to take care of them. Our 9/11 firefighters ended up with all kinds of respiratory problems and cancer. They have had to fight for what they deserve. Our veterans are others that are provided below standards of care at our VA facilities. They come back from war without limbs, internal injuries, Ptsd and sometimes don't even have a place to go because they lost their homes and cars while they were at war. Unbelieveable!

I want to come back and stay in the Bahamas. I miss someone very much.

I didn't say Donald Trump wasn't a idiot. Actually I took up for Obama. He's a great man that IF he did order the wire tapping it was because all or most politicians get carried away with their power. The democrats we running scared. I've made plenty of mistakes in my life, I don't judge others. I don't like to talk politics everyone gets so sensitive.

John, All of our politicians seem to get swayed by the power they have. Including President Obama. He's a good man, but he and the democrats did everything they could to stay in power. They made some big mistakes that hurt most Americans and that's why Trump won the election in Nov. Lisa

Hi John, If these boys had hope and a future they would not be so influenced by the gangs. At twelve and thirteen they should be out side playing ball with their friends having dinner on the table at home at 7:00. Parents that are involved, and of course school in the morning. As you know education provides choices in life. It breaks my heart that so many of them are lost and losing their lives so young. These are hopeless you men. So many things could be done to change things. I read this newspaper everyday. I see that many have good ideas and realize what has happened, but I don't see anyone doing anything. Starting programs after school for kids that would be going to a empty house because parents are working.
