Does anyone know where John Braynen is keeping himself these days, former lead singer in the group John Boy & The Mustangs. They played at the Holiday Inn in Grand Bahama back in the 70's and 80's. They also made several albums. I've been told he's in Nassau, but does anyone know if he's in a group now. He was in the Oct 23 weekend addition at the Beres Hammond concert last year in Nassau. He's in the photo on page 18 on the left side of the page. Longtime friend would love to reconnect with him and see him playing. I'll be in Nassau next month, please help if you can. Lisa Harris If you told him you had read this he would know who I was and I believe answer me. Friend looking for Friend

Unions don't work in the United States either. The idea sounds great, but first off it runs the prices up. The union actually take the word team out of a work crew. It makes employees lazy, because they feel protected. This doesn't really work in the hospitality business. When everyone is relying on guests and return guests for the business to prosper. People won't come back if they think the property is run down, dirty, poor quality, rudeness or unsafe. Positive feedback from quests will make everyone more money.

Very selfish! Why would you not contact the ship when you realized that you were going to be late for the embarkment. It is a huge deal for a passenger to not return to the ship. I'm sure it held up 3,000-5,000 people on their vacations. I was just on a cruise in September and learned about the new crime warnings on top of that. After a period of time I'm sure local police were contacted. Then the news and newspaper, all awhile she's just visiting a friend. This was everyone's time and expense, and everyone is so grateful she is fine. I'm all for visiting a friend, but on your on time. Be responsible and considerate of other. Fly in on your next trip and your time is your own. Just my opinion!

How someone feels is very important to me. Obviously there are still problems with racism that I don't see. The hurt can be heard in this column, and I'm sorry for what they are still experiencing. I just want to say America has changed a lot in the last thirty years. The number of people that don't see color far outweighs the people who do. I am employed by the public school system, and with students it's always about being cool. The last fifteen years I have worked with Kindergarten thru 12th grade, and I just don't see our kids judging their piers by the color of there skin anymore. Of course I'm sure there are some people stuck in the past with this ignorance. I just wanted to share all American's aren't like this. I was lucky I was raised by parents that never allowed me to disrespect anyone, certainly not for their color. Love one another, what a world it would be. Lisa
