Bran just lost my vote, what a stupid statement. Work with the Chinese? He has no comprehension as to what is going on at Baha Mar and is just flapping his gum's like the opportunistic politician he is. FDI is dead in the Bahamas due to politicians. Great work lads. Cuba loves you for your fine work!

All I see here are traitors to the Bahamas. These are the people that have destroyed a once vibrant nation. Each and every one in this picture has millions of dollars stashed away but they do not obey the law and disclose their assets so, they are criminals. The problem is, the law does not apply to these kleptocrates. Why must we obey the law and they can do as they please? Bahamians better wake up. Your country is being destroyed by the very people you see in this picture, vote them out!

So our government is directed by the numbers racket, a communist country, and a polyester pusher. Sounds about right. What a sad state of affairs, the first PLP government gave this nation the label "nation for sale", the second PLP government was to busy being corrupt to do anything, and now the third PLP government has completed SLOP's vision and sold us out, lock, stock, and barrel. YIPPE, we did not even make 50 years of independence, gotta be some sort of record!

It is most telling that these action where brought in the U.S. and the U.K. Who in their right mind would want something so important to the nation to be mired in our most questionable judicial system. It is so sad our self serving politicians have destroyed it's reputation along with so much more in their quest to enrich themselves and their minions.

The P.M. better pay attention and take this as another "teachable moment". The Chinese are not good for The Bahamas. Let us hope that the PLP has not made a deal with the devil. just like the drug dealers of the 70's-80's, if it seems to good to be true, it pretty much is!

asiseeit says...

The PLP will look out for the PLP as ALWAYS, to hell with the nation. Perry is good for the PLP and their tin pot dictator style of governance. The inner circle is reaping the loot and it is trickling down to the minions, all is well, within the PLP and that is all they care about.

Anchor projects, more like anchors around the neck of The Bahamas and we in the deep end of the pool. These massive projects do not fit with our little Nation, no matter how you cut it. Look at what has been done to poor Bimini, that island is a subburb of Miami. How those people let the government take their island and lifestyle away from them without a peep is beyond me.

The "gold Rush" has turned out to be fools gold!

What this is also saying is the Izzi's might have been better off with a Bahamian workforce. Seems to me the Chinese workmanship is not up to par with our standards. Also seems that the Chinese where/are up to underhanded dealings trying to force the Izzi's out, bankrupt them. All in all the Chinese seem to be the weak link/problem here. Our government better take this as a "teachable moment" as far as dealing with the Chinese. Perry them better be paying attention!

Is the P.M. just telling the people the government is between a rock and a hard place? It is obvious the Chinese do not give a dam about Bahamians, why would they? I would think the Izzi's have more to lose and therefore are the better bet. No matter how it is cut, The Bahamas is the one that will lose. This is nothing to China, they have ghost city's galore, what is one more in a distant land? A very shabby situation, maybe now the Bahamian people will wake the hell up,Cuba coming for we ting's!
