This story can be attributed directly to the mismanagement of the country by the political class. The woman and her family lived in this house for TWO years without current. She also could not afford water and we all know ain't no jobs out there. Meanwhile crony's living large. Yinna better wake up, a minority political class still treating the country like a bunch of potcake on the side of the road. Yinna be lucky if they throw you the done suck bone!
I do not know weather or not to rejoice for you or weep for you but for a person to be so clueless in today's world is very special. I wish I could honestly still think like a child. Most exceptional!
Why do our immature politicians always point fingers when they are caught with their pants down. Most mature people learned in kindergarten that two wrongs do not make a right. We also learned that if little johnny does something stupid, it does not mean that it is OK for yourself to do something stupid. I mean this stuff is taught before grade school, yet our politicians still think they can pawn off their transgressions with the old "Nanny, Nanny, Boo, Boo, you did it so I could too". What are they still in preschool?
It makes sense to delay. Hopefully it will not take to long for them to get it right. While I would love for Bah Mar to be the economic engine the government has said it will be, I highly doubt it will be. On the job front in this country there is little hope. The politicians are to busy fighting over the meager scraps and looking out for derelict crony's to manage the country in a meaningful and progressive manner. When little men lead a little country you just can not expect much!
They are still waiting to see how they can get their cut. This is how it works. They put up road blocks and whoever wants to pass must grease the wheel. Everybody knows how government works except for some fools with their heads in the sand.
The Bahamas is ruled by petty little men with a giant chip on their shoulder. They play tit for tat at the expense of the very thing that sustains their immature, vindictive, self destructive behavior. A psychologist would have a field day having a chat with them. The Bahamas would be better off without them.
What a joke. The whole web shop deal stinks to high heaven. Democracy in The Bahamas has been dealt a devastating blow by this situation. That will be the legacy of PGC.
If these assholes would stop pointing fingers and just do their jobs in a professional manner we may get somewhere. Also Mr. Bell, with respect, everyone knows that 95% of politicians and their cronys are crooked, you think that does not affect the mindset of the regular Bahamian. Shit, you crooks refuse to introduce Freedom of Information because you KNOW your dirty panty's will make everyone else own look sparkly fresh. So sir, might I suggest that you and the rest of the slime bucket politicians in this country take a long hard look in the mirror, I doubt you will honestly like what you see.
