Birdie, something stinks and it ain't rotten conch. The Bahamian people have been ripped off by government so bad it is crazy. I know you are so in love with your PLP that you refuse to open your eyes. You remind me of a domestic abuse victim, "I love him, he won't hit me again", yet they always get hit again, don't they? Both the PLP and THe FNM have done this country more harm than good, it is time they are held accountable. Wake UP your nation is in serious trouble!
You and I are paying to put this fire out, NOT renew, mark my words. Renew is just a recycler of select items that end up in the landfill. Once again the Bahamian people get swing and they do not even know it!
Those that can are headed for greener pastures. The middle class in this country is getting smaller and smaller. I wonder what they will do when the middle class SLOP worked so hard to create is wiped out along with all the taxes they pay? This government is playing with fire.
Who are benefiting from the tax dollars spent on healthcare right now. Go to the PMH and tell me who is up in there. Government can not even throw a party with our tax dollars and you want us to give them another 6% of our salary to waste, mismanage, and steal. Government does not work for the people, it works for itself. I would rather throw my money into the wind than give it to the kleptocrats that run this country. Government needs to straighten up and fly right before they even think of asking me for more of my hard earned money.
If you want to know how government will cut spending, you are wasting your time. The short answer is they are NOT going to cut spending. They do not know the meaning of fiscal responsibility. The cookie jar is being plundered.
Even with obscene amounts of the peoples money, these twits can not even throw a party. No wonder the country is steadily going downhill. If I was not so worried about the future of this country i would laugh but I am closer to tears for my poor country.
The government is killing this country. Bahamians better wake up because they are going to be taxed into the dark ages and will receive just what they are getting now, nothing. We do not receive value for money and any right thinking person knows they are being ripped off by government. There is no value for money. Government better try and sort itself out and start to SERVE the people before they go spouting off about more taxes. Keep pushing and sooner or later the people WILL push back. Perry them are totally out of touch with what the common man is facing, cheaper they slow their roll.
