All this shows is how callous Bahamian society has become. Look at how many of our young men are willing to take a life much less share disgusting pictures. This is what happens when children are not taught love and respect. The social ill's of this nation are massive and getting worse. The future most certainly looks bleak!

The Bahamian taxpayer really needs some lotion to easy the hurt that is being put upon them by government. Thank god most do not care or are to uneducated (by design) to know how hard they are getting screwed otherwise there would be hell to pay.

Many black Bahamians have no clue what a tourist deals with in this country. If our police force had any sense they would rotate some foriegn white police in and let them walk Bay St. and do some buy's. It is an open air drug market down there for tourist. Also put them on the beaches and see just how bad it really is. I have had guests in and tagged along playing tourist before and was horrified at how they where spoken to and approached. It is a wonder we have any tourist!

This bonehead is just realizing that the public does not feel safe! Out of touch is an understatement. Incompetence at it's finest! Please let 2017 come soon so we can be rid of these self absorbed, kleptocratic, fools.

It is time for some real action. The criminals have no fear. The politicians have no respect for the people. The church is a business. Crime and corruption are the norm. Illegal immigrants believe they run the show. This country has been run into the ground through greed and incompetence. Anything is better than what we have now!

Your words fall on deaf ears. The church has failed the nation long ago. Most churches are about money not the word. Look at the suits, cars, planes, houses and it will tell you what the bishop, doctor, reverend, prophet, or whatever they want to call themselves, is all about. Being humble and doing the lords work is NOT a priority for most, money is, just like the politicians. The majority of you are Parasites.

So what happened in 1648. Ever heard of Preachers Cave. Some people actually went to fricken school and learned something while also knowing their family history. As hard as certain groups try and rewrite history, the truth will always come out in the end.

The people are more worried about PUBLIC officials and corruption. That is where we are getting ripped off. Public servants are a cancer upon this country. Getting paid but not working, outright stealing, kickbacks, misuse of inside information, jury rigging of public tenders, nepotism, cronyism, and the list of corrupt behavior goes on. When the M.P's do not even obey the law of the land (public disclosure is a small example) what can you expect. This little country is a cesspool of criminals, starting right at the top!

The question is, how can you say BTC is supporting our culture when we have NEVER had carnival in this country, EVER? This carnival has nothing to do with our culture, it is a business model the PLP has imported. Get it right, or are we going to rewrite our history yet again?

^^ very well said ^^. Not far from a dictatorship. The Bahamian people better wake up!
