You really think Uncle Sam is going to let a Chinese run country, right on it's doorstep, prosper. Now we see why Cuba has been opened up. Boy, we got some serious problems now! We just went in reverse 30 years, the IMF and the rest coming for they things, and Foreign investors will not touch this country for decades. This PLP government has caused more harm to The Bahamas than any single entity in our history. Birdie them must be proud!

FDI is going to dry up, Cuba is going to divert our tourist dollar and we are going to have some very lean years ahead. How we are even going to find enough U.S. dollars to cover our food import bill will be a challenge. Fun time ahead!

asiseeit says...

The Bahamas itself faces one major challenge, how to get rid of this government as soon as possible!

asiseeit says...

So the truth is our P.M. has been lying to us straight through, no surprise there. The world is watching and we will not recover from this for a very long time. This Government just took this country back 30 years. I hope the PLP still has the contacts for the drug runners, we gonna need them soon.

So when FDI dries up will tourism alone bring in enough dollars to support our import bill. We import everything and you can not pay for anything outside of The Bahamas with B dollars. So what happens when we do not have anything but B dollars. We can't import our food from China. See why FDI is so important? This country is in serious trouble!

You think Uncle Sam will just let the Chinese have The Bahamas without a fight? As I said The Bahamas of tomorrow will be the Cuba of yesterday. tighten your belts because we are in for some lean years ahead!

Right before election, so they can say, "they did it so it is ok that i do it", this is the kindergarten antics and thinking we know and expect. And then nothing will happen because if one falls, the rest probably will as well. So shallow!

asiseeit says...

These Chinese should never be allowed to import workers again. They burned us, are we going to let them do it again. If government lets CCA bring in workers from China for the BC the construction industry has right to go nuclear on government. Bahamians have the skills, Bahamians need work and you going to bring some fella from half way around the world to do that work at a substandard level. Do it again and see what happens!

This report only scratches the surface, just like that report from the fools at Transparency International. Corruption in this country is DEEP. We all know how it works but those that play the game also know if they raise a stink their goose is cooked. So at dinner party's and at social functions the truth is whispered so as to not knock over the apple cart. !0% kickbacks are fact, stolen business idea's are a fact, BEC grease to get connected happens all the time, building inspectors get greased daily, and the list goes on. If the true amount of corruption in this country was to come to light even the corrupt would be ashamed.
