So TAl, what do you propose we do? A non-violent protest? What? because you know there will be no more big injections of foreign money after this shitshow. We are on our own but as we all know, government has made sure that Bahamians with money will not invest in their own country.
One wonders if the company that got the contract to build the pools (but did not build the pools) got paid? I hear the fella that owns it now is in the roofing business.
But then again, maybe this is all by design, maybe the PLP is trying to run off anyone with half a brain. then they can just ply the fools left with rum, give them carnival, and run the country as their own little playground. It won't last but they obviously do not really look to the future.
The FNM better get it's act together, the future of this country is at stake. This country has gone from bad to worse in three short years, we can not afford another PLP government, it will destroy what little integrity this nation has left. People are fed up, only the PLP tribe is happy, is this what The Bahamas is all about? We better sort this out and sort it out soon, because what little we have left by the way of productive people are at their wits end. The exodus will begin if these kleptocrates are returned to power. The Bahamas is reaping the rewards of the first PLP government, what do you think we will get 20 years away from another PLP government. What a nightmare!
I am thinking of the future. If this bunch of assholes are re-elected, this country is in for a very bad ride. The Bahamas of today will become the Cuba of yesterday. I do not want to live in such a country, period! As SLOP said, fish or cut bait or get the hell out the boat. I have been fishing and cutting bait, but soon come it just may be time to get the hell off the sinking boat. real talk!
So if I had an extra billion I wanted to invest, I would come running to the Bahamas? Somehow I think that ship has sailed. I forecast rough waters and shoals galore for FDI in The Bahamas. Great job, we should give these guys a raise!
And yes, our government is comprised of assholes of the highest order! Talk about people that are going to hell and are evil, just look at our government!
I really wonder why these assholes even put out a budget, they have NEVER been on target or under budget. Why waste our time with a budget, yinna gonna steal what you want anyway!
