Questions.

What percentage marijuana or other drugs do you all think the DEU stops from entering the country?

Do you believe that the DEU has made any dent in the distribution of marijuana or other drugs in the country?

"$300 million deficits despite the extra $1 billion-plus in VAT revenues"

I know revenue and profit are different but you don't think they had at least $100 mil to put toward the debt?

Bahamians should remember this quote when going to the vote. in that $1 bill is funds for food, school fees, light bills, mortgage payments etc..

look in the "More like this story" and see how much young men we are arresting for a plant.

The police know where every "dope shop", some are less than 400 feet from the police station.

In a "Christian" nation where we believe God created everything in nature for us but some how this plant (that has medicinal benefits) is illegal.

Just decriminalize small amounts because kicking down someone's door or chasing them through the bushes is just not a smart way to spend tax dollars.

Pindling said it himself, if the americans cant stop traffickers how are we suppose to with our limited resource in a country made up of islands stretched across miles.

We're throwing money away for a plant

*****Mr Wilson added that the crackdown had yet to extend to other islands that generated significant economic activity, such as Abaco, **Grand Bahama** and Eleuthera, implying that yields would further rise when this happens.*****

Take it from a person living in Grand Bahama.. There is no economic activity here.

Also, after 50 plus years only 4 islands have economic activity? We're failing badly

Agreed. If it's suppose to fight crime you would think the PLP would've passed it the first year in office. More importantly, how is it helping the people right now.. The Bahamas does not need a 5-10 year plan, we need impactful changes now.

$2,500 in food ain't much in this country but it's something I guess.

Huge rally for gamblers and addicts..$2500 in food for the elderly and poor...makes sense.

More police doesn't solve crimes...look at Chicago, where the national guard is going in this week.

Police know these gang members...who have gone beyond just crime but terrorizing communities and families. They don't fear the police or the courts but are set out to destroy someone's life. Sounds like terrorism to me...we're beyond due process and civil rights, we're being killed every other day.

Thanks for the note and reminder Ian. I understand your view and I do feel something revolutionary is coming to the Bahamas but not to the benefit of the Bahamian people.

Regardless we sit back and watch as they destroy and plunder our lives and the lives of our children.

I believe it can be down just not in the time the PLP is forcing it to be. Our Health system simply doesn't have the expertise nor the infrastructure

lol I don't even remember the PLP giving a plan to fight crime.. These politicians are all fake man. Get out of the country while you can.
