First of all, the Village road area with the tragic robbery ocurred last week is not part of Blair Estates. St Andrews Drive, Orchard terrace, Borrklyn, Village Road is not part of Blair Estates. Second, yes there have been cars stolen from the area but never 4 on a Sunday. Third, at no time does this paper mention having reached out to Supt. Robert Sherman Young or the Blair Citizens Assiciation for their take on the issue.
Residents are not living in terror. Sorry....poor reporting...
Stop worrying abou tbeing politically correct and cut! Do whats right for the country. and no a new Parliament, new benefits, a a new PM house should not even be in disucssion. It look foolish to the outside world who is looking to us to cut spending.
Unbelieveable.....what about the ankle bracelet system for a first time offender???!
Dont we need space for all of the violent criminals on our streets?
Again I am sure he tapped into the BEC because of how inefficient BEC is with hooking up new service and as a contractor he could not wait....still wrong...but just sayin'.
I agree the building may be old but this should not be anywhere near the top of the list of priorities for this country at this time. Do our politicians know that Fox Hill Police station and Elizabeth Estates Police stations only have 2 working Police cars between them right now? The media should confirm this fact with the stations and report it! This is woefully inadequate and with such limited resources they can not possibly protect, respond, patrol the citizens of those areas. Let us not forget, theis government was elected because crime is out of control. We must make and keep crime the number one priority....we are losing our bahamaland to criminals.
Put the money that you would spend on a new Parliment into the Police force, trainings, cars, and new recruits!
