agreed. There is not more intelligent discussion, just name calling. I blame the government for making this a dividing issue when it shouldn't be. It's all political.
Also, remember, the data is showing that these vaccines will most likely become seasonal like the flu shot since they loose their efficacy after a while. Therefore, it's even more important to choose a vaccine that you are willing to take every year. Personally, I choose not to take one which can possibly induce VITT every time i take it.
Sure, those who are touting conspiracy theories, perhaps you can label them as "morons". However, "cautious" is a more appropriate term for those who understand the risks involved and the data, and simply choose to wait to take a vaccine. While it is rare, some persons don't want to fall into the rare category of death, paralysis, etc, due to VITT. Yeah, the virus can kill you, but if the vaccine can too, then it has to remain a choice for the individual to make..... Personally, I am looking at the new NVX-CoV2373 Novavax COVID-19 vaccine. This one is based on more traditional tried and true vaccination creation techniques and is looking to be less riskier than the others.
I'm hesitant to take the vaccine but agree with you on this one. If i worked in that profession, or any profession where exposure was high, i would have take the vaccine from the beginning.
Interesting. The delta variant is showing us what to expect in terms of our future with covid vaccinations, which seems like it will be in the same vain as the flu shot. Our government is so foolish that they do not require any type of testing for vaccinated individuals because they are too concerned about the unvaccinated. It doesn't take a genius to understand that only the unvaccinated will test positive for covid under those conditions.... However, these same "vaccinated" persons will be bringing the Delta strain (and who knows whatever other strains) with them from abroad. Hope you guys are ready for "vaccination day". Have fun with that super spreader event.
"It’s sadly noticeable that the higher percent of persons vaccinated occur in first world countries with better educated citizenry." It's "education" alright. These persons are trained to "follow the science" and "trust the science". Sure, I trust the science, but not blindly. History has taught us just how wrong the "science" can be at times, especially when it comes to drugs, medication, and vaccines. There are adverse reactions and deaths in reference to these vaccines which are being downplayed in an effort to get everyone vaccinated. Unless you are over 50, I think it is wiser to watch and wait as the big experiment rages on around the world with those who choose to take these experimental vaccines.
Pretty well written. "Will the employers pay for the medical care of employees who have adverse reactions or pay a lump sum to the employee’s family in the case of death?" This is the numero uno question for me. If you want to mandate something, then put your money where your mouth is. Take responsibility for those who may be adversely impacted. But then again, all they will do is perform their "autopsy" and say that this death wasn't caused by the vaccine, it was just just coincidental or some "underlying cause" LOL. Criminals.
My thoughts exactly, this guy is a moron. It's ok to charge Bahamians for PCR tests travelling in their own country but it's now "impactful" if the US requires it? Talk about double talk.....
The government will have to tread carefully since we're in the political season. It's simple math really. If you alienate and frustrate the unvaccinated population which makes up well over half of your current population, they may just decide to take it out on you at the polls.... Have your fun for now Mr. Prime Minister....
