Well, you give a Bahamian some keys and a little power and he thinks he rules the celebration . This event started in celebration of freedom and it is now different. The JCNP committee should be fired and new blood added. Miller , by his decision to cancel junkanoo, displays that he cannot make sound decisions. He , and the committee should be removed and a new committee chosen. Power attracts the worst and corrupts the best.

The fact that the Bahamian commissioner said that he did not know about the issue is an indictment on the Bahamian Police Force. It speaks volumes about the history of the relationship between The Bahamian Police Force and The United States of America. The DaeA does not trust the Bahamian Police Force and its commissioner, otherwise, he would have known. He may have to fall on his sword. The commissioner was brought in by the PLP and its leader. What does that tell you? Does the United States trust our Prime Minister, if it is pur Prime Minister and the PLP whom made him commissioner?
