Joe blow, I guess biden is following the science. Science says ounce you walk across the border, you cannot infect anyone, but if you fly , you can. So, there it is, walking does not transmit the virus but flying does, at least for this week. Don't worry, the science will change by next week , and we should follow it then, also.

I don't think there is a right answer or a wrong answer. However, if Dr. Minnis lost touch with voters , why did he win his seat with more that 600 votes? If the FNM lost touch with the voters, why did Cartwright defeat Halkitis in a grassroot constituency? Why did thompson win in Grand Bahama? Could it be that Thompson and cartwright worked and were in their constituencies the whole time?It would have been impossible for cartwright to win against Halkitis with Halkitis beating the ground everyday. That means, cartwright was visible in his constituency. So, maybe the other candidates needed to be more visible in their constituencies, they needed to work the ground , more. That's all, no more, no less. Brave arose from the old guard and became Prime Minister. He was there in the" apparent" corrupt government a few years ago when they were swept. People said he should not be leader, and here we are today. There is no magic, just work you constituency and mingle with the people. Stop being arrogant , roll up your selves and become " one of them".

Mentorship from who, though? DR. Sands was rejected in Elizebeth with the endorsement of Hubert Ingraham. He had Hubert and still lost.

But he won his seat by 600votes? Candidates like thompson and cartwright were community builders and retained their seats because of their hard work and humility. I do not see it.

Well, Minnis won his seat. Mr. Cartwright really won his. He defeated Halkitis in an election which had plp momentum. Thag tells me that he really worked in the community and the others didnt. People like to see you, feel you, touch you. They like when you sit around the porch and.mingle. If as a politician, you ostracize yourself from the people, it will be e ident at the polls. But, then again, there is no method to the madness of why people do or do not show up for you at.the polls.

No, what probably happened was, because of Dorian and the pandemic, we were.going to be downgraded anyway. What Moodys did was the correct thing to do. Moodys waited until the election was.over to announce the downgrade. If they had announced the downgrade before the election , it would have appeared that they were influenving the outcome of a.sovereign country's election process. They waited , and it was.the right thing. It isnt coincidental, they did noy want.to announce before the election. They probably wete.going to do it , and that is why Minnis called it early. Just my thoughts.....
