You can never have value for money, to the construction of our houses, electricians wiring our houses up wrong ,, tile layer putting tiles down incorrectly, to everyone out to lunch or on vacation for two weeks and no one else can do it government worker, to electricity that is very expensive when it is on half the time, to the water off because water and sewerage wanting more money.....etc.this place is ridiculous and expensive. Oh, let's not talk about duty dropped on hand towels ,but Mr. Robests has them more expensive than before duty was dropped.
let 100 of them work in private practice as a general physician paying rent, staff, malpractice insurance ,and other daily fees , and let' see how much they take home at the end of the year. They will beg for their "govmant" job.
We are on a Hamster wheel , and it is not looking good. Who is going to pay for these constant raises and perks? There is only so much in the economy plus hurricane season that normally can run a slow 150,000,000 to 200, 000,000. $29 departure tax plus VAT, $ 5.00 for police record that was $2.50 , bus drivers want an increase ,and the list goes on. When will this end. I am not an economist , but I think we are in a recession/depression. We are in trouble and no one seems to have the answers.....
So, does the.person not have mold in his/ her house? What about cockroaches or termites, any rats running around the yard? It is common to the majority of households in the Bahamas, but you can't get days off from a job that you don't want to go to, that's the real problem, no one wants to engage in that nonsense that occurs between Monday and Friday, just show up to pick up the check.
Come on, now stop the fake news. We have very few "poor people" in the Bahamas.Respectfully, just stop it. Poor people can't afford to buy hair for $150 every other month, buy fake eye lashes, new outfit, new shoes, and jewellery just to go to a fete party. Poor people can't afford to talk on a $500 Apple phone for hours on end every week. Poor people can't afford to spend hundreds to Mr. Flowers and Mr. Bastian every month. Please stop referring to these people as poor, they make poor decisions
You mean , universal income. Get that crap out of here. Listen people , work for what you want and need, that's it. If you can't afford it, then you just can't afford it, simple.wr all have a lot in life according to the decisions we make and our output. If you don't want to work and sacrifice , you rewards will be diminished. If you work hard and sacrifice, your rewards will be worthwhile.if you make a bad decision, who is to blame? Is the government or other private citizens to blame? Stop blaming everyone else for you present situation, especially the government.we all have choices to make, make them with 20 years in mind.
