By the way, don’t spend that extra money too quickly. You are going to need that money if the mother in grand Bahamas sues the government for the death of her children at the playground! You can’t make this up. Cabinet ministers can’t see a problem before it occurs and fix it, they wait for a problem to occur and still can’t fix it. Dang !!!

Need to take that money and fix the children’s death trap playgrounds. Junkanooers will always be junkanooers, they will show up to shake . They will find the money. They will use their electric , water and children’s school fee money to get ready for Junkanoo. Use this money to fix the playgrounds, so you can have future junkanooers!!! Plp, your priorities are in the wrong place.

Two things the plp government have totally failed at, where was the ambulance in a time of emergency, and here again , we have a playground that needs renovations. The plp needs to come up with a solution to combat emergencies, and it also needs to renovate all these playgrounds that look like construction sites. These are deplorable. I can’t understand how the ministers can travel all over the world and enjoy luxury, then come back home to a dump of a country and not try to beautify their own country. Have cabinet ministers no shame? How can these ugly playgrounds represent the people? Do we have no pride in our environment???? Where will the little darlings play? Where will the elderly relax? We need outdoor spaces that do not look like playgrounds for gang members, for our elderly, also.

My only concern was that there was no loss of product …. Oh, and no loss of life. Did I mention, no loss of life?

What do we get from the United States that benefit us? What do we get from Haiti that benefits us? Do our students go to Haiti for an education? Do Bahamians go to Haiti to shop? We need to have compassion and common sense at the same time. Do Americans or Haitians overload our hospital and schools? Do Americans purchase land and invest in our country , providing jobs for Bahamians? Do Haitians buy land and invest in our country , providing jobs for Bahamians? We practically get Nothing from Haiti. The labor we get causes more harm than good. I may be wrong and stand to be corrected.

A lot about nothing. Let us get the cards and move on.

The opinion of the masses is what is called a democracy. We vote on our laws and the majority wins….simple. You can feel how you want, but voting on issues create laws that we all have to follow, except when you voted no on the gambling referendum and the plp ignored your vote. Now ,that is more dictatorship .

The government is never pro active, always reactive. You can see this happening a mile way, yet the government does not prepare for this. My heart and prayers go out to the family . You should not have gone through this . Some of us , if not all of us , are with you in prayer. To the government and politics….whatever. Once you , your family , your sweethearts are fine, everything koopasetic!!
