The police like to make themselves look more important by giving the so called street value of the drugs that they intercept and seize. This is behaviour learnt from Drug cops in other countries and shows a lack of integrity in my mind. Dealers at the street level mostly buy a pound or 16 ounces at a time and sell it by the ounce or by the gram. no one carries around 3 million dollars, the true value if you are buying this quantity would be 40 to 80 thousand dollars. But that doesn't sound so impressive does it?
